“Room was small to be an ensuite double room, but it was clean and had basics and toiletries, tv and free wifi. Free parking at the front door. The owner, Darren, was quite nice and helpful. He cooked a nice breakfast every morning, personalized a bit for my continental taste, and listened patiently to my daily adventures. I was on holiday and did tourism across Somerset from there. Good value for the price”

“Beautiful, a real gem of a hotel / restaurant.. The room was immaculate and it felt like it was “brand new”. Plus, the receptionists, restaurant staff and cleaners were lovely and so accommodating… 11 out of 10!! It’s located a 10 second walk from the beach and m parking is free… I’ll be rebooking within the next couple of weeks!! ”

“No enclosed garden for dogs , cars driving past daily to the lodge further on . Gravelled drive - noisy Cob webs every where . Rude owner and unhelpful . Property not dog or child friendly Local pub - very nice but you have to drive , there is no foot path also uphill . No local amenities No welcome hamper Poor information folder - The only information provided is the local Indian Will not be returning or recommending ”

“This is budget prices so I expected a budget room simples ! I turned up and was greeted by a cheerful manager who explained every to me. The management are currently working on improvements to the hotel and i think come spring its gonna be spot on. Cosy and warm throughout the whole hotel. Yes, the room could do with a bit of tlc but everything worked, great wi fi, and clean. Bed was comfortable too. I would stay here again when I return to Weston-super-Mare. ”

“Really nice stay for a “rest and recharge” getaway. The shepherds hut was exactly as the pictures - clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners had a folder with all the useful information we would need during our stay (how to use the hot tub, location for waste and recycling bins, nearby public footpaths etc). A nice secluded area from the rest of the property to allow for privacy. I would definitely recommend and consider again for a couple’s holiday. ”

“Booked the house to stay, 5 months in advance. Had no contact from the owner, so emailed with 1 month until stay date. Was assured everything was fine. They contacted a week and half before stay date to cancel due to routine maintenance. Three hours on the phone to book somewhere else, to be told I had to wait 72 hours before we could rebook. Asked to have my money back and was told 14 days for a refund. Shocking service!”
