Highly Disappointed
We had planned a cozy little three night getaway for my fiancé‘s birthday. What a disaster. Communication with the property manager and having him try to get in touch with the homeowners was very difficult regarding simple questions. The fireplaces were very misleading. They are not usable and the property manager didn’t know that. The only thing we really wanted to do was just relax in a warm, cozy, clean space and watch movies and we didn’t get to do any of that. The Internet was down for most of our stay. We never got to finish a full movie. And to charge a cleaning fee is absurd because we are the ones who cleaned up after the previous guests. There was food all over the house and underneath the couches. They are charging a cleaning fee and basically coming in with a bottle of Febreeze. Not to mention, most of everything in the house is old or broken. Do not touch the blinds! They are all broken! The shower drips all night! Not an enjoyable stay. From the minute we got there and had problems getting through the keypad on the front door, to not figuring out how to work the heat. Very poor communication, low score on cleanliness, very poor Internet. We were so disgusted that we left a day early. Ruined my fiancé‘s birthday weekend. Waste of hard earned money. We’ve stayed at dozens of rentals and this was the worst one ever. You guys need to do way better.
