“We enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described and the host friendly and informative. We hit good weather too, which helped. For outdoor enthusiasts there is a nearby beach to launch kayaks for a paddle to the Copeland Islands, and there are many great hikes in the Lund/Powell River area. “The place is even better than advertised. It's location is close to many great amenities on Cortes, including fairly close to the ferry, the grocery and a nice, dockside restaurant. “We enjoyed a beautiful week's vacation at Margaret's cabin on Savary Island. Communication with Margaret was clear and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. “The property has a great view and the tents are cozy. Lois and her family made us feel welcome and were great hosts. The amenities were very basic when we were there (outhouse only, no power or running water, shared basic kitchen stuff) though I know the property is changing and upgrading by the week. We felt a bit uncomfortable sharing spaces during Covid without too many precautions but lesson learned. ”

“This was our first trip to Savary Island. We didn’t really know what to expect but Samantha, our host, communicated with us and gave us some really useful info. Place is very big and in a perfect location, 4 min away from an amazing beach. All other spots on the island are a bike ride away. Would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone. If you like beautiful, quiet, safe place and amazing beaches with unbelievably warm water (September 1st) Savary island resort is your place to go to.”
