“The hotel has a great location for a short stay in Glasgow but it's way over prized. Old building without any sort of update or repairs. During our 2 nights stay and 3 days the main 7th floor restaurant and breakfast venue displaid a number of buckets full of water, poring rain from the ceiling! “The staff were very welcoming from the start, very friendly always had a smile, staff were very informative on any questions we had, the hotel room was a great size and very clean, was very comfortable the view was amazing we had a view of the Clyde and the hydro, room service was excellent food was amazing. “One night stay to attend a concert so didnt really spend too much time in the hotel. We were on tbe Penthouse level which was only served by one lift which was very slow to respond. Room was very nice and modern and had a balcony which will have a great view once all the extensive construction work is completed. A bit noisy even with the window closed and despite being on the 10th floor, work starts at 7am! That aside we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and recommend”

“Great hotel that we have used for multiple trips to Glasgow, great to have lots of options on site: food, drink, pool and gym (all are great). Great location if staying for concerts held across the river and only a short walk to the pedestrian bridge to get there. Have always felt safe staying in the area and very walkable to the multiple shopping areas though it is a good 20 minute walk into the main centre (though plenty of transport options also). Will definitely use again when visiting...

“Friendly staff at check-in/out. The place is very basic and was last updated probably ages ago. It is more hostel than hotel, with residents using self-catering kitchen etc, hence the bargain price. Showers and WCs a couple of strides down the corridor. Both them and the room were kept very clean. Double bedroom a more generous size than expected. Mattress is basic with wobbly springs but hey...linen was clean and fresh. ”

"Nothing was unique. It was very dirty (carpet, curtains, window, outdoor planters, hair in the floor of the bathroom and shower, insects on the walls, floor and bed. When I saw the bottle of the shampoo empty, I asked them and they told me tu buy one in the nearest shop. Tables of the dinning room were sticky. We will NEVER be back at this hotel. DO NOT RESERVE, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, EVER. IF YO DO IT, YOU WILL REGRET"
