The property is extremely cozy and perfect for a little getaway on Lake Superior. If your trying to decide between this and your average commercial hotel conglomerate; do yourself a favor and chose the Cedar Seaside Chalet, the hot tub was extremely hot, perfect after a day on the slopes and the property itself has everything you need, from a pizza slicer to a George Forman grill, Netflix and everything you could think of in between. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay. I’ll be looking for the property again next time we come up to Lutsen. 10 Stars!

The home, location, and setting was outstanding. It is perfect for a family getaway, whether that includes kids or just adults. Easy access to Lake Superior and the Gitchi-Gami bike path. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is the ideal location.

Sweet retreat

We stayed in this unit for three nights. Everything was as listed and check in very easy. The view is incredible and in spite of probably a full occupancy, we did not hear other guests! The beds were very comfortable and the public areas were well kept and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again!

North shore getaway

We had a lovely time at this sweet little condo! Very comfortable and clean. The host was very communicative and helpful. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves at night. Can’t wait to come again in another season!

Beautiful North Shore Retreat

This condo boasts spectacular views of Lake Superior, it is comfortable and well furnished for a great stay. This unit has air conditioning which we enjoyed. The entire Chateaux is clean and well maintained looked like a brand new paved parking lot this year. You can walk right down to the lake and wade or take a swim or just relax on the balcony and take in the North Shore.

Great location and things to do!

We enjoyed staying at this place. Even though it's a short drive to Lutsen ski, the view from condo, well equipped kitchen are huge plus! Kids love to play tennis and pool in the clean cozy common area. It's definitely the great addition in case of bad weather. Planning to come back to spend snow days in Lake Superior area.

Wonderful ski weekend getaway!

This was a great place to stay for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). The view was unbelievable!! The location was fantastic for Lutsen skiing. The condo is compact but perfectly appointed with everything we needed and a great use of space! The 3 kids were very comfortable upstairs in the loft and loved the Pac Man video game. We enjoyed all the common areas which made the place feel really big. All the beds and pillows were new/ comfortable, which is hard to find in a Vrbo. We aren’t coffee/tea people but looked like a great set up there for those that are. There’s also a fireplace (we didn’t use it), but great touch! Communication and check in/out was easy. No issues. The only downfall is no recycling. We brought all of our recycling home with us. This isn’t an owner issue but a site/ city issue. We hate to be in such pristine nature and have no recycling. Hope this gets fixed! All in all, a 5 star stay and we will come again! Loved this cozy, comfy place!

Everything needed for a cozy getaway, amazing location for nature immersion and close-ups of the lake! -Pool, sauna, gathering spaces appreciated, tho did not use. Views of shoreline main attraction.

Everything we needed was available. Great place. Notes of recommendations: Need new steak knives vs rusty ones. Pool had too much mildew on the deck. Cleaning fee needs to be lowered or adjusted based on the conditions left.

Great location

We chose to stay here because of the location and photos of the condo. We wanted charm and a cozy Lakeview cottage vibe for our stay and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a little small for the kitchen and living area but our family of five made it work just fine between our North Shore adventures. Loved the fireplace and the kids loved the loft area with the arcade game. It was a great location for our stay as it felt nothing was too far away. We headed south or north and there was plenty to see and do.

Wonderful getaway

The property was perfect for us, 2 adult couples with together space and places to get away. Be sure to get down to the store via the stairs. Lovely, quiet, unobstructed view of the lake from there. We took the nearby gondola and hiked down. Minnesota has lovely state parks!

Cozy spot for North Shore fun

Our family of 4 just enjoyed a short vacation on the North Shore - this condo was just as described and met our needs well! The common space is cozy (if a little tight), but as we come up here to enjoy the outdoors this isn't an issue. Super comfy beds, well stocked with everything you need. Kids loved having the pool and ping pong table on property!

Clean, Cozy & Incredible Views

First, when you walk in you’ll be blown away by the views of the lake. Just as advertised! Secondly, the house is spotless clean, not a spec of dust to be found! From the soft towels, to the comfy bed, to the blackout shades (a must with 4:30 sunrise!) they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Don’t hesitate to book here - it’s perfection for a relaxing stay on Gitchigami!
