Charming house in a charming town, Casa Cerini

  • Set just a block away from the heart of this quaint little Marin County town, Casa Cerini offers a wonderful place to relax and plan your activities. Within minutes you are in Dillon beach and the wine country starts just 20 minutes away. Petaluma and Sebastopol are conveniently less than 30 minutes away. The adorable 2 bedroom house offers a spacious living room, formal dining room, roomy kitchen and a wonderful deck and backyard behind the house with good privacy to enjoy a dip in the hot tub or a quiet meal outdoors. Both bedrooms boast comfortable queen beds and TVs. There is a fireplace and a large TV in the living room and the formal dining room seats up to 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a coffee station with a machine that can make pots by drip or K-Cups which are provided.

    The 19th century town of Tomales still looks much as it did at the turn of the 20th century. There is a small market, amazing bakery and deli. saloon, the William Tell house restaurant; History Museum; homemade sausage sandwich shop and more.

    Please see our 5StarVR site for information about our personal chefs, caterers, massages, Yoga instructors & personal trainers as well as great information about local restaurants & wineries and fun things to do in the area. All of our vacation rentals are completely stocked with essential cookware, dinnerware and consumable supplies like toilet paper; paper towels; shampoo & conditioner; bath, dish hand and laundry soaps; various trash bags. Luxurious linens are also provided. Hot tubs are heated at no additional charge all year. All houses are non-smoking indoors.

    This is an amazing property for family and friends to gather but it is NOT a party house! Amplified music is not allowed outdoors at vacation rentals in the County and there are cameras that monitor parking areas and decimal meters that alert us to excessive noise. Quiet time for this County is between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Groups that abuse these rules will be subject to immediate eviction and could be subject to large fines and potential legal action.

Summer weekender trip

We all had a wonderful time….and as what the other reviewers wrote, it was a perfect place to stay for a couple of days in a very quiet small town that has a great bakery & general store.

Long Weekend in Tomales

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Cerini - the house was recently renovated, everything was in top working order, the location a block away from the town center was great. We will definitely be back!

Comfy, Cozy, Clean...

We feel so comfortable in this house. It is so clean (the cleaning goddess needs to make big bucks), the beds and furniture are so comfy, and the overall vibe is so cozy. Great neighborhood, in an idyllic location.

Wonderful girls trip!

Friends from college came together for two days and enjoyed the wonderful Casa Cerini. We cooked dinner, used the barbecue, and hung out in the beautiful craftsman house, sat on the front porch enjoying bakery items from the nearby bakery. It was a wonderful time!

Tomales treasure

Beautifully restored craftsman style home. Near central Tomales and great bakery and general store. Close to many fun things to do, Dillon Beach, Nicks Cove, Farmer's Market in Point Reyes (summer) and all the State and County Parks. House was lovely, well-equipped.

Scenic Getaway

This house was amazing in every way. The house had everything we needed plus more. The hot tube was amazing and I enjoyed that most of the nights. The area was amazing and the views on the drives were just wow! I would recommend this house to anyone and we will hopefully be back again.

Uncle Dave's Celebration of Life

Our stay at Casa Cerini was bittersweet. We were in town for my uncle's memorial (the bitter part). Having this cozy, comfortable, homey place to retreat back to at the end of the day was such a blessing (the sweet part)! We plan on staying again whenever we return to town to visit family.

Exceeded expectations!

What a beautiful house. Incredibly clean, well-maintained, and with little touches like coffee pods and towels on the bed. I wanted a weekend to relax and recharge while connecting with nature (Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach) and this house was the nicest place to return to - late lunch outside and an evening hot tub soak. Very much recommend!

Perfect location

The house had every amenity you could think of and the kitchen was so well stocked with everything! It was only 8 minutes to Dillon Beach and a block from town and the best bakery ever! We are definitely going to return! We loved the house and Tomales.

Nice memorial getaway

Very small community with some surprises. We found a busy and lovely bakery right at the corner. There is not much going on in the neighborhood, but that's what we wanted: a peaceful and relaxing stay.
