We had a wonderful 4-day stay at the beach house. Overall it was a great experience, and we truly appreciate the hospitality! The lock code was wisely designed and easy to remember by individual customer! The house itself was clean, warm and very comfortable. Communication with the host was always friendly and smooth. We especially had a lot of fun crabbing from the pier, which was a highlight of our trip!

Wonderful stay at the beautiful Rivah Mojo. We crabbed, fished, kayaked, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Fantastic restaurants not too far, but a well stocked kitchen here too. We would love to come back!

Fabulous Getaway!

We had a fabulous time with our friends! It was the perfect short vacation!!! We went tubing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, swimming, had a bonfire, played games at night in the house at the big table! What a fabulous place! The owners communicated with us, making sure all went well! Such a great trip! The house was fully stocked with everything you could think of from appliances to spices!!! The only thing we regret is not staying longer!

A Slice of Heaven

Everything about our stay at this beautiful property on Mill Creek was just perfect. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. We loved the big front porch overlooking the water and enjoyed time sitting out on the dock watching the water and the light and the sky changing. There are lots of water birds to watch as well. We also enjoyed exploring this beautiful area and went to White Stone and Irvington. Seafood lovers won’t want to miss the nearby waterfront restaurant, Merroir.

An incredible week at this lovely house

We had an incredible week at this lovely house! We had everything needed for a fantastic vacation with our family. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the countryside, this is the ideal place. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and all the necessary appliances were provided. I highly recommend this place – from kayaks and Netflix to crab fishing tools, it had it all. Don't miss out!

Relaxed get away, everything you need at the house

My family had a great stay. The house was perfectly stocked and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The house is done nicely and has nice furnishings and a beautiful kitchen. The screened in porch is large with lots of seating and is great to eat in and relax inside. The piers they have are great. All 5 of us could be fishing at once without an issue. The low pier makes it very easy to launch the Kayaks and canoe. The boat house has lots of supplies and was very convenient to be able to keep all your fishing and recreational stuff in during the stay. The owners crab pots worked great and we had two meals of fresh caught crabs during our stay. The provided steamer and outdoor burner made it easy to cook them. The views are beautiful and we even saw a trio of cow-nose rays flying through the water a couple evenings. Heather was a great host and easy to work with.

Topping retreat

We were very happy with our stay at this property. Everything was as expected and the host was very easy to deal with. The location was perfect for our needs and had all the amenities and then some. A Wonderful River Home

This is a lovely home in every way. We met up with a close friend who grew up with us not far from the area for a reunion of sorts. All three bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were firm, though not hard at all. We spent most of our time at the house in the screened in porch that faces the river. The porch is quite large! All seating was comfortable. The weather wasn’t overly cooperative so we never did get to take the canoe or kayaks out, but they looked well kept. If we’d had more time we may have utilized the fishing and crabbing gear, but we weren’t planning on that. There were ingredients for s’mores and a fire pit. I think our biggest regret was not making s’mores. But the home was so relaxing we just felt lazy and cozy all weekend. There was a wonderful French Cabernet left near the guest book as well. A very elegant touch. We are hoping for a chance to return soon! This was honestly our best of many good VRBO experiences. We highly recommend it.

Conveniently Located and Well Appointed

Entire process from booking through check out was smooth. Hostess was easy to contact if we did need anything (which we did not). House was conveniently located for visits to Kilmarnock, Urbanna, and Merroir. While we were at the house, it was quiet with convenient walks and plenty of water fowl to watch. Despite some rainy weather, a good time was had by all of us.

Cozy Cottage

Beautifull views, fully stocked, super clean. Cozy cottage great for fall and spring. Just sit back and relax in the screened porch, dock or living room in front of fireplace. Nicely appointed cottage with comfy beds and sofa. We had a wonderful time and Heather the host was outstanding. Thank you we will be back again!!

Great Getaway!

Property was super clean and nicely stocked. The owners were accommodating and responsive. Beds very comfortable - appeared as if everything was new (sheets, towels, etc). Great view from living room and we had unseasonably warm weather so were able to enjoy the porch and dock.
