“We stayed at this property during the first week in October. There were 7 of us ranging in age from 40 to 73. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. The pool is wonderful. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area, and you need to have transportation to get to them. “We were seven adults who thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. The home is spacious, the beds comfortable and the rooms were all very clean and welcoming. We did not use the pool (thought it was crystal clear), as it was a bit cool in early October... and we were always out during the day exploring the Douro Valley. “This house was extremely comfortable for our group of 10. The beds were amazing and every bedroom has an ensuite luxurious bathroom. It is complete with well- equipped kitchen and a care taker that provides an ample continental breakfast every morning. Communication via vrbo and what’s app were perfect and informative. The piece de resistance are the sweeping views of the Duoro. All glass door throughout give you a view you will not forget. Highly recommendm.”

“The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades.”

He had to get out wet and have a shower in another apartment as there was no one to fix the issue at the time. The dinner and breakfast were amazing and the service from the waiter as well.
