“Excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden. We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing. We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely, the wife had boiled eggs and soldiers, they were perfect with nice runny yokes. My full English breakfast was excellent with a perfectly cooked poached egg. “I booked this hotel for my elderly parents as my mother had a hospital appointment close by, she is quite poorly, the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable ! she had a special meal cooked for her that she could eat (she has this was not on the menu and also they also made her an oatmilk porridge for breakfast) this meant so much to her as she is frightened to eat out normally. The hotel was spotless.”
