“The flat is in a great location, safe neighborhood. It was very clean and bright. Great communication with the owner. I would just point out that the air conditioning unit is in main living area, not the bedrooms. Our first day in Budapest was very warm so we slept with the bedroom doors open for the air to come in. On subsequent nights we simply opened the windows. ”

Our VRBO contacts were VERY GOOD about keeping in contact with us when we had a problem, and it did get resolved after a couple days. We also needed more kitchen and bath towels.(We stayed 5 days with 7 guests and had do go to Bubbles to do laundry) Only one kitchen towel was provided. “We had a really good break in Budapet thanks in no small part to this lovely flat with high ceilings, large windows and lots of space for two adults and three teenagers. From the flat it's only a few minutes' walk to the City Park, which was a real discovery, with the House of Music, the Baths, the lake The History Museum and Heroes' Square. 40 minutes gets you to the banks of the Danube. “An hidden oasis in a buzzing area of Budapest. The apartment is exactly as pictured and described, but the surprise was how wonderfully quiet it was!
