The temperature in the house upon arrival was 14 C. We had to turn the heat up and leave until it warmed up some. Clearly nobody had visited or cleaned the cottage in awhile. Both bathrooms were dirty, the bathtub had mouse poop in it. There was no water to flush the toilet or that came out of the taps in the bathroom with the tub. The kitchen and 2nd bathroom were functional at least. The patio door isn't sealed, one end had a huge gap you could see through. Despite being a cottage for up to 10 guests, there were only 3 forks and a few knives in the drawer. There is no toaster, which is a pretty basic appliance. We were extremely disappointed, if the cottage is rented out in the winter, it shouldn't be cold upon arrival, and someone should ensure it's clean, without mouse poop before guests arrive.
