“Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). Beautiful view to wake up to, beds very comfortable. Welcome pack extremely useful and offered fresh eggs daily from their chickens. Local walks are beautiful. Within about 30-40 minutes drive from Caerphilly castle, Aberfan, Abergavenny, Pontypool, Cardiff, Barry Island and many other places of...

“The cottage is cosy and warm and has all the necessary facilities to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well appointed, the shower has good pressure, the beds are comfortable and the Netflix (and lots of other channels) worked well. The wifi reception isn’t super strong however it worked fine. There are lovely walks from the property and Neath is close by. There is comprehensive info on local shops, history and restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend.”

“Good, but wasn’t made clear when we booked it that there were several other properties in the complex, had it have done we probably wouldn’t have booked this property , that said there was no such issue and was very quiet, but we did go to a similar setting several years ago and there were parties in a couple of them and turned into a nightmare.”
