It was a perfect Tuscan feel! It was nice to be away from the busyness of the local towns. Communication with the manager was a little difficult since he didn't speak much English. The bedroom/bathroom situation was a little awkward, but the house was beautiful and homey.

Wunderschönes restauriertes Bauernhaus mit Pool in der Ruhe der sienesischen Hügel – und das ist genauso!Es ist ein schönes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Alles da, was man benötigt. Küche mit Gasherd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster und Kaffeemaschine. Die Küchenmaschine (der italienische Thermomix) wie abgebildet leider nicht vorhanden). Ausreichend Gläser Besteck und Geschirr vorhanden. Der vorhandene Grill war so lala …. musste von uns erst gereinigt werden ist aber auch so langsam auf.Mit der Müllentsorgung mussten wir erst etwas kämpfen. Den Müll wie auf dem Plan, den Abend vor der Abholung, vorne in die Gitterbox an der Straße stellen. Antonio der uns empfangen hat und sich um alles kümmert, nimmt den Müll zwar auch mit, aber so kann man selbst für die richtige Entsorgung sorgen.Straße .. ja, das Haus und die Anlage liegt landschaftlich wunderschön, aber auch direkt an der Durchgangsstraße. Also schon mit Lärm bis in den Abend/Nacht der vorbeifahrenden Autos und LKW’s verbunden.Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden nicht gewechselt – kennen wir anders - aber man kann die ja selbst waschen, Maschine ist vorhanden.Es ist noch erwähnenswert, dass sowohl die Terrasse als auch der Wintergarten, die zum Mietobjekt gehören, als Durchgang für die anderen Mieter zur Waschmaschine führt. Bedeutet, dass bei Nutzung der Maschine ständig jemand vorbeiläuft. Der Durchgang über die Terrasse führt auch zu der anderen Wohnung. Obwohl nicht bei FeWo angegeben, entfallen v

Tuscan Country Home

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 day stay in this Tuscan Farm House. Beautiful home with pool in the Tuscan countryside. Close to Sienna and Montepulciano. We took an amazing cooking class nearby and visited plenty of nearby wineries. The home has some amazing features including a glass floor and spiral staircase.

Super Unterkunft, hervorragende Lage in der südlichen Toskana

Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche Ende Oktober in diesem typischen, sehr individuell und charmant eingerichteten historischen toskanischen Haus mit einem großen Garten verbracht. 4 Erwachsene (2 Paare) und ein Kind können es sich richtig gemütlich machen. Die Bäder sind toll eingerichtet - eines mit riesiger Wanne, Regendusche und Whirlpool. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet - Töpfe, Geschirr, Bestecke und Küchenwerkzeuge bis hin zu Bimbi (so heißt der Thermomix auf Italienisch) ist alles vorhanden. Es gibt mehrere Essplätze - vom kleinen Küchentisch über einen großen Tisch in der verglasten Veranda und einem Pavillon im Garten bis hin zur Tafel im Hauptraum. Die Bibliothek im obersten Geschoss mit Lesesessel, sowie die Couches im ersten Geschoss und im Erdgeschoß laden zum Lesen, Verweilen und Musikhören ein. Über eine kleine Musikanlage und ein paar Klassik CDs für jeden Geschmack kann ein Tag ausklingen, nachdem man in der herrlichen Gegend verbracht hat - Trequanda selbst aber auch in den unmittelbar in der Nähe gelegenen Siena, Pienza und den Weinorten Montalcino und Montepulciano. Das Angebot an Restaurants in der Gegend ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir hatten rundum herrliche Tage hier verbracht, wegen der tollen Gegend und wegen der tollen Unterkunft. Dies verdanken wir auch unseren Gastgebern, sie haben nicht nur eine traumhafte Umgebung für unsere Ferien geschaffen, sondern haben sich auch hervorragend um unsere Belange gekümmert.

The paradise in Toscany§

Margherita is a magiciian! You can go in her house it's a kind of magic! The decoration is absolutely increidible and the garden is wonderfull! Maria an Sergio are there if you have a problem (but you can't have one!!!) Thze adresses of Margherita are very nice you have to go to meet GianLuca inMontisi! this is a very very special restaurant ! we 'll come back to Trequanda!

Fantastic rural Tuscan farmhouse

We (a family of 2 adults, 2 kids (6 and 4 years old)) have just come back from a wonderful stay (~10 days) at Podere Poggiolo in late July-early August where we have the most fantastic time. The property was lovely; clean and very nicely presented as you would expect, but full of character and a clearly loved previous home. Charming and personal furnishing throughout the house made it feel like coming to stay with friends rather than a holiday home. The house has clearly been attentively renovated and refurbished with modern touches that our kids loved - the glass-floored mezzanine and spiral staircase, the illuminated spa-bath - and plenty of space. Only a couple of separate bedrooms, but several additional pull-out beds/sofa beds. The outside space was fantastic too. Sharing the garden with another family staying in the smaller unit was fun. We overlapped with two other families who also had kids. Lovely big garden to play around in (although it was generally very hot). And the pool! What a necessary feature in the 40C midday heat, ever day. And the location couldn't be beaten. Trequanda, and short stroll away, is a lovely small town/village with just the right amount of amenities - a handful of restaurants with a range of styles and characters, a central old square with cafes. Montisi, 5 mins drive, is also hugely characterful medieval village with loads of character. Many of the major regional sites - Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, Montipulciano, etc, etc, are and easy drive within 1 hour through the most fantastic scenery. Overall, if we could go back tomorrow, we would. Loved it! Thank you for enabling a wonderful family holiday.

Schönes Haus mit viel Charme und Gemütlichkeit

Das Haus hat viel Charme und man spürt die private Atmosphäre. Margherita legt sehr viel Wert auf Wohlfühlen, das Haus ist gut gepflegt, der Außenbereich ebenfalls. Unser zusätzliches Glück war, dass die Anliegerwohnung zu der Zeit frei war und wir das ganze Gelände (sehr gepflegt) zur alleinigen Verfügung hatten. Im Ort (fußläufig) iner Supermarkt und 2 gute Restaurants. Das Umland (Peinza, Siena, Montepulciano, San Giovanni d'Asso etc.) ist mit das schönste was die Toskana zu bieten hat.
