“Very nice hotel, great amenities, room was very nice with a nice view. Was there for a wedding and food was very nice. In the morning- the cafe was short staff and the queue was very long just for a coffee so we went off somewhere else. In general- great location and accommodation ”

“I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent). The cleanliness is inconsistent. The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included. The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch. The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink. I would never recommend it to anyone.”

“Overall might have been a lovely stay but if you are handed the keys to room 6 turn around forget your money and go elsewhere. Directly on the main road, at the top of the stairs so you join in everyones conversations. Also directly above the noisy doo that enters the building. We had to make door jams with our pizza box to stop our door shaking eberytime the downstairs door opened.”

“Very Central Location. Clean. Old and dated. Was allocated a basement room below street level in front of the hotel so noise from the street (cars/people walking by). On the first night was disturbed around midnight by noisy guests having loud conversations which continued for more than an hour. May not have been an issue if we were on the upper floors. ”
