“ Our stay at Carton House was, unfortunately, far from what we expected. I caught COVID during the trip, and the extreme dryness of the room made everything dramatically worse — every swallow felt like swallowing crushed glass. Even after turning off the air system, the noise from neighbouring rooms kept coming through the walls. The dustpan and brush in the room were broken and frankly disgusting to use, especially around the bathroom.

“Cute cottage near town. Very warm and had all the things requiered for a pleasant stay. As there were 5 of us the single bathroom did require some organizing of who had it and when otherwise fine. A suggestion would be to have the clothes dryer in the kitchen next to the washing machine for convenience, and perhaps a second oven tray that fits into the rackng. We stayed 3 weeks and it was very pleasant. ”
