Spring break in the redwoods

We had a wonderful stay here with grandparents and teenagers. The house is beautiful and the kitchen well-stocked. We would stay here again!

Lovely house among the trees

Our family loved staying and playing in this house- lots of sweet touches (window seats, croquet and badminton, hot tub in the trees), as well as all the basics.It was also a great location for a home base to explore the Redwoods parks and local towns.Maeve was super responsive to our questions.

Wonderful

We had a great stay! The house was well stocked and the host was amazing to answer and help with even the most trivial questions! The hot tub and tree room were worth it by themselves. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place and host

Our trip was absolutely amazing. The house is super clean and the host is very nice and cooperative. Nice house in redwoods. Very close to redwood parks and the beach. Highly recommended.

Amazing, we will want to be back!

This home checks all the boxes, plus some. We love the quiet location set in the trees and thimbleberries, but close to town. The projector screen was a great unexpected perk for movie nights. Very comfortable home with lots of space, couches and amenities. We are experienced travelers and it really stood out.

Amazing!

Really great house for 6 to 8 people. Lots of outside deck space with table and chairs, heaters, hot tub, grill, etc. Towering trees all around. U get that secluded forest vibe. Loved it

Great home in the redwoods, esp. for children

Fabulous home for a large group (5 adults, teenagers). Excellently equipped house, esp. in the kitchen and the sports equipment for kids. I could not have found a better place for my family to stay.

Great Getaway in the Redwoods

The house was very cozy and has an interesting layout. It was a great house for my friends and I to spend the weekend. We used the outdoor games (badminton and croquet) and enjoyed the nearby Moonstone Beach (less than 5 minutes away!). Note that the host has a lot of notes and rules posted about the house, and the housecleaners arrive promptly at 11:05!

Redwood Retreat Worth Repeating

What an absolute gem! Tucked away in the heart of the Redwoods, this home was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience. The setting was peaceful, the house itself was stunning, and every amenity felt thoughtfully chosen.The projector setup turned movie night into a full cinematic experience (chef’s kiss), and the gas stove was next-level—perfect for cooking up a cozy dinner after a day of exploring.From start to finish, everything was smooth, relaxing, and just felt like a little slice of magic. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful space!

This house is amazing. We arrived in the dark late in the evening so we had no idea how beautiful it was until we woke up! One of the rooms felt like you’re sleeping in a terrarium- that’s how dense the trees are right outside your window. Maeve was super communicative when we had some wifi issues due to rain, and I can think of zero critiques for our girls trip visiting the redwoods. We had the best time!

Big, beautiful home in the redwoods

We enjoyed our stay at this big and fun home built into a little redwood grove. It was a nice and well appointed house. Lots of space but also cozy spaces such as window seats. We needed last minute accommodations and they were ready for us. The sleeping porch was wonderful but did have a couple of steps to get down to it. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great location to access the redwoods and close to the beaches. A couple of miles from Trinidad.

Very kid friendly

Listing exactly as advertised. We had four teen boys with us. The AV/screen for watching movies was great. They loved the tether ball, hot tub and they took over the living room and sleeping loft. Great kitchen. Home was the best supplied that we’ve ever stayed at: ziplock bags all the way to plentiful towels and cooking utensils/pots and pans.

Lovely home away from home

Once we figured out the location (the map on the listing did not lead us to the right place), everything was a breeze. Maeve was quick to respond to it questions and we found the spot. The house, while slightly dated, made me feel at home. The kitchen was fully stocked (minus the food) and the bedrooms were cozy. My kids loved the hot tub that overlooked the redwoods and the projector movie screen. Overall, our stay here was wonderful!

Amazing getaway

We had a phenomenal weekend at this home. There were so many thoughtful and interesting touches at the home at the property as a whole. The rooms were quirky (in the very best way - one room has full windows on two walls for incredible forest views) and the extra large living room with projector and screen tv were phenomenal for our little group to all hang out I. The same place with plenty of space. We happened to have snow/ hail/ rain all weekend but didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. Moonstone beach is a little over a mile away. We will definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at this property and it definitely won’t be our last. This home is beautiful, exceptionally well appointed, and is full of creature comforts. Our teen kids even thought it was amazing and have asked to come back for a week every year.
