We stayed here for our anniversary and fell in love with it. It was nice and clean, no complaints. We love fishing and this was the perfect spot. We cooked the whole stay and we was graced with trash bags, paper towels and seasoning that was already there. I would most definitely recommend this sot and will be returning soon.

Great little escape!

Super cute and comfortable place. Don't let the drive through the neighborhood fool you, the house is a gem. Communication was great! Hosts were fantastic and thought of all the details! The decks were great. There's even enough space to park a boat trailer in front. Would definitely book again!

Amazing spot!

We went for a long weekend away with our family of four. First of all, the house is super cute and located on a nice, calm canal. Being able to tie up our boat to the dock was fantastic! The homeowners were extremely responsive and added thoughtful touches like a welcome basket of snacks and coffee pods. They were more than generous in giving us an extended checkout time as well. The futon bed wasn't the most comfortable, but honestly thats to be expected. All other beds were superb! The house was well stocked with toiletries, blankets, towels, etc. We really couldn't ask for more! Thank you to our lovely hosts!

In Love With Hideaway House

We traveled to Cedar Creek Reservoir for our 19th anniversary--my husband recently fell in love with this lake and is trying to convince me it needs to be our retirement plan; consider me convinced! Brian, the owner, is an excellent communicator and made sure we were well informed throughout the entire process. So friendly! The house is absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean and charmingly decorated. The furniture is very comfortable and perfectly suited to the house--the back deck is fabulous. The first night, we sat on the back deck in rockers and just enjoyed listening to the soft flow of the water and the rustle of the trees. If you look up, you have a clear view of the stars you just can't get in the city with all of the light pollution--wondrously beautiful. We took advantage of the kayaks Saturday morning and had the best time--I'm in love with kayaking and this lake--the lake is so clean and so peaceful. We also took advantage of the grill and enjoyed eating outdoors, the great weather and the scenery--it is amazing that even with houses on each side, the property feels very private. The house is also just minutes from so many fun shops, eateries, wineries, etc. Highly recommend The Whistlestop (amazing food, ambience and service) in Trinidad, Funky Junk in Gun Barrel City to meet Mojo the Skydiving Dog and get some unique trinkets, and Big Crappie guide service for fishing if you don't have your own boat--ask for Cody! Thanks for such a memorable trip!

Great stay

The property was very peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. The water in the little canal was a little low but still perfect to kyak to the bigger part of the lake. I even caught a small large mouth bass from the dock. Proper was very clean very organized, and well up to date. Will love to stay here again if we’re ever back in the area

First class and Top shell…new and very clean.

Arrived as scheduled, no problem with the pass code to enter. Welcome basket with water was a great treat. All cabinets, pantries, and more well marked and stocked, where needed. Clean, clean, clean. Host responds promptly! Great place you can see the HOST’s care… I’ll be back…

The stay was so amazing such a beautiful view early in the morning the house was perfect for just me and my husband the Kayaks were so fun and plus the arcade games they have which my husband loved the whole house was just so perfect to me and my husband we look forward to going back again soon!!
