“Ian’s cabin was an excellent place to stay near Mount Hood! The cabin was a perfect and peaceful place with everything we needed. Ian also had several recommendations for hikes and restaurants in his guest book that were perfect to go check out. Highly recommend but will note for those that may not notice in the listing there is no WiFi and very little to no cell signal. ”

“This was our visit to the area, and this place was great! Comfortable sleeping spaces with plenty of room. (We were 4, but the place could easily sleep 6). Wildwood (just down the road) was a beautiful oasis and the proximity to other hiking/fishing/recreation was outstanding. The hosts were excellent communicators and clearly care about helping guests have a good experience. ”

“My son, dog and I stayed here for 6 nights. He went to snowboard camp each day while I worked in the cabin. Strong internet able to handle video calls. Bathroom recently updated, airy and decorated well. Big washer and dryer, lovely deck to sit on in the evenings with the outdoor lights. Nice yard (not fenced in). Quiet, small neighborhood. Lovely to walk around. "Even Better Ifs": Needs a recycle bin, ice trays and a curtain on the window in the loft.”

“Check in was a breeze. This was a perfect little neighborhood to walk our dog, Dexter. The little trails throughout were fun to check out and some lead right down to the Sandy River. This location offered a central spot for us to venture on hikes and bike rides. We very much enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evenings. ”

“Overall, it was a great “cabin” stay. It was exactly what I wanted. The furniture and decor was perfect. The upstairs layout was different, but we made it work. Couldn’t figure out how to get the upstairs ceiling fan to work, made a note should be added for the next guests. There were lots of amenities that we didn’t take advantage of, but would have been nice if we spent more time in the cabin (games, movies, books and kitchen goods). The shower products were great! “This place is an incredibly cozy and homey cabin, far enough away from the big city, but not so remote that you feel isolated. Over a 3 day stay we maybe only saw 2 other people around the whole neighborhood which was perfect. The place is well planned out for a cabin, with cozy beds and a huge couch, strong AC in the living room (only) for the summer months, and an amazing hot tub to relax in after a day of hikes.”

“This home has everything for a great ski vacation. The house was immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Beds were super comfy with both firm and soft pillows. Plenty of extra blankets. Lots of games and movies. Close to skiing, sledding, restaurants, etc. We will absolutely be visiting again!!”

“I needed to decompress for a few days, and this was perfect. Beautiful cedar cabin and property, close to civilization if you want it to be, but also far and quiet enough that you can totally unplug if that's what you want. The outhouse is clean and easy to use; the shower is a bit more of a walk than expected, but that's just a statement, not a complaint. “The first thing my family and I said was "wow" when we walked in. This is the cleanest and cutest house we have stayed in. Erika is a thoughtful host- from a cute smore substitute due to the fire ban, to towel bundles, to laying hay by the fence so the animals would come by to eat. It's a nice location to be somewhere quiet, yet easy enough to get to the waterfalls and such a long the river.
