  • Beach House sits 100m from the Blue Flag beach in Porthtowan, a small seaside village with a stunning 1 mile sandy beach, framed by National Trust protected coastline and served by RNLI Lifeguards. Learn to surf at the legendary Tris Surf or enjoy the thrill of nature lying down on a foam body board. On the beach is the 'Blue Bar', a Good Pub Guide pub with great food, and Chapel Porth National Trust cafe, home of the world famous HedgeHog ice cream. Walkers take the South West coastal path from the gate through the UNESCO World Heritage North Cornwall coastline. For cyclists: take an 11 mile coast-to-coast cycle route along old railway lines and one of the best BMX facilities in the UK is nearby. Great location for all of Cornwall, only 5 minutes from the A30. 20 minutes to Truro, 30 minutes to Newquay, Falmouth and St Ives. St Michaels Mount, Padstow, Lands End and The Eden Project are within in a 45 minute radius.

Amazing property with exceptional views. We loved the fact it was dog and child friendly. Mark the host was very helpful and prompt at replying to any questions or queries we had and we had a lovely stay. Even though we brought our own travel cot, the property also provided one alongside a highchair which was very helpful !! We will definitely be returning in the future and a lot of family who have seen our pictures also are looking to book in the future. Thank you :)

It is a lovely, spacious, sunny property. It felt like home from home. Access does require a little work as there are many steps to negotiate but well worth the effort. In warmer weather it is likely most holidaymakers would eat out on the decking which has a view of the beach and countryside

Perfect for our 2 families & grandparents . Good spacious bedrooms & dinning . Excellent location and we were lucky to be on holiday during the heatwave . Mark was wonderful helping with all our queries. My only issue was parking . 2 cars didn’t quite fit as one was on a steep slope . Paying for parking added to the cost and on a busy bank holiday the car park was totally full .

We had an amazing weekend, everything we needed and it was so clean. Beds and sofa really comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Host Mark was great and got back to me with a solution very quickly. Plenty of parking in car park, steps up to property bit tricky but ok if fit. Great stay thank you

This was our second time staying at the Beach House and we absolutely love it. Really great location, only a few minute walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. The beds are super comfortable and the place is always lovely and clean. The shower in the ensuite was a bit temperamental but thankfully could just use one of the others. We absolutely love sitting on the decking looking out to the beach. There are a lot of stairs to the property but we don't really mind this at all. A little difficult to get two cars on the drive but grateful it has parking. Already booked again for next year!

The Beach House is a fabulous place to stay - Just like home from home. Plenty of space for everyone who went. Very well equipt with everything you could need. The only downside for us, was the parking. It was very difficult to get up the slope for the first car as it's steep and the second car couldn't get on the driveway, so that the driver could get out and even though the car was in park, it rolled down the ramp. But all said would recommend a stay in the Beach house as it's amazing :D

Really lovely house with great views over the bay. Ideal place for a grown up family to celebrate my husbands 60th. Lots of space and really well equipt. The parking is a bit tricky, car park in the village free for the next few months.

Great holiday house and close to beach. We appreciated the improvements that have been made to the property since our last visit but we missed the large bbq which has been replaced with a small one not big enough when cooking for ten guests .

The house was great for a group of 8. it has good rooms and was clean. For our group it was big enough and it has all what is needed. It was a lovely time in Porthtowan and the house is located perfectly.

Perfect place for a family holiday so close to the beach and with amazing views!

Great house, location. Fantastic balcony and fire pit area with incredible views. It was a relaxing, comfortable and easy stay with everything we could have needed.
