Geschmackvoller Ruhepol zum Erkunden von Cornwall

Es war ein rundum schöner Urlaub in Cornwall, nicht zu letzt wegen der sehr zu lobenden Ferienwohnung. Ein wunderbarer Ort sich zu erholen und zu entspannen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, es fehlte an nichts und der Garten einfach nur schön. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Die Kommunikation mit Julie war schnell und unkompliziert, vielen Dank.Die Ferienwohnung liegt super für zahlreiche Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Cosy, comfy and characteristic

This is our second visit to Cascadden Barn and the location is rural but only a 5 min drive to the village. Countryside views from the rear garden and lots of quiet lanes for walking from the barn. The barn is well equipped and the beds are SUPER comfy!Stithians is centrally located so nowhere is far, with Redruth/Falmouth/Truro all between 20-15 mins away.Great village park/playground/skatepark-church/country pub within 5 mins drive or 20 min walk through public footpath/bridle way over the fields.The hosts are friendly and responsive, and we highly recommend Cascadden!

Wunderschöner Ort in Cornwall

A quiet and lovely place

A really great and very quietly located accommodation. There is a lot of space and the garden is large and beautiful. We have made many trips from there and will certainly come back again. Thank you for 2 fantastic weeks in Cornwall!

What we've looked for

We had some problems to find the location with car navigation system but a call to the owner and in addition the help of Google Maps enabled us to manage it at least. Our stay was very nice and the barn is very well stuffed. We missed nothing and therefore we can absolutely recommend a stay at Cascadden Barn

Beautiful accomodation!

Really beautiful accomodation exactly as listed. Great communication and helpful owners. Getting there does involve ten minutes of single track country roads but they were very quiet and it was worth it for the idyllic location. So peaceful, beautiful outside area too. And the clearest night skies! We had a fabulous time and still only 8miles away from Falmouth. Five stars from us!

Cascadden Barn. A Wedding weekend

It was a little tricky to find initially as we arrived in the dark. The Barn has been tastefully furnished an absolute stylish kitchen and living area with lots of room. It was spotless. The bedrooms were of a good size. The only negative were the beds. They were ok but having a bad back and shoulder I do need a good mattress that supports. I do not sleep well with a bed too hard or bouncy. The outside area is lovely , however due to being away for most of the weekend and than rain we did not get to use this. There is a BBQ and chairs to enjoy the outside. Loved the area and an ideal location to visit the Lizard and Minnack love this area. We would definitely go again if the bed was a little more comfy.

Beautiful barn and a fantastic location

The barn itself is in lovely location, set in the country side away from the hustle and bustle of any towns, and we were stunned at how quiet and peaceful it was, and how dark the skies were, providing some lovely evenings in the enclosed garden. The garden itself was beautifully presented for relaxing and/or having outdoor food and barbeques. The location is close and easy reach of Falmouth, but also provided us with a great base to explore the much of South of Cornwall and even a couple of trips up to the northern regions. Upon arrival, indoors the barn was beautifully presented, with a lovely welcoming tray for all of the family to enjoy. The kitchen and and eating area was very well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday stay and very clean also. The living area was very comfortable and spacious, again with everything you would need for evenings and any stay at home days (games, tv, sound system etc.) The beds were very comfortable and clean, and bedrooms nicely laid out, with plenty of room clothes and accessories (given that we stayed for two weeks) Through out the visit the hosts were very helpful, friendly and responsive to our enquiries and requests, whilst giving as much privacy as you could wish for. They also provided a very helpful guide for the barn, its facilities, local areas, recomendations and all other formalities. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and we were very sad to be leaving the barn on our final day. We would highly recomend!

Very quiet place in the middle of nothing but near to everything

The barn is very comfortably furnished and very clean. The garden is wonderful with lots of beautiful plants. And Julie herself is such a lovely person and has always an open ear for you. The setting is adorable, close to nice beaches, small villages, Pups with delicious food and shopping. You can even see the sunset from the barn.We loved the coast path very much. It is really a home from home.

Cornish countryside at its best

Beautiful barn conversion with amazing views from the back and approach. Very comfortable and well-equipped (no washing machine but the property description says that). Sun trap of a courtyard. Well off the beaten track with plenty of walks at the doorstep. Excellent location to Truro, Falmouth, north and south coast, Lizard….HEAPS to do in the area, perfect spot to relax.

Tolle Unterkunft in sehr ruhige Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Das Cottage hat einen hohen Austattungs-Standard, liegt sehr abgeschieden und damit auch sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Bis an die Küsten fährt man jeweils ca. 30min. Aufgrund der Lage im Herzen von Cornwall kann man sehr viele Ziele anfahren und erkunden. Für Ruhesuchende empfehlen wir die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt.

Entspannung pur

Die Lage ist ganz ruhig in Wiesen (durch schmale Straße/Weg zu erreichen), die Wohnung wie beschrieben mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Begrüßung mit Snacks und Getränken war wirklich liebevoll und der Garten wunderschön! Die Lage ist sehr praktisch (zur Nord- und Südküste Cornwalls 20-25 min mit dem Auto). Super zu empfehlen!
