The owner was very accommodating and checked up on us via text to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. “Very nice house. Proximity to the JR Shin Koiwa station makes getting anywhere in Tokyo very easy. It’s about a ten minute walk. Host is excellent and communicates well. Very quiet neighborhood. If you can navigate the excellent Tokyo rail and subway system this is an excellent choice for your visit. I would not hesitate to book the Kanae House again. ”

“This was a very nice place to stay. It is in a good, quiet district with very nice restaurants only a few minutes walk from the house. There is a very good restaurant called Soba Maruka only a couple hundred feet away. On top of that the train station was very easy to get to, so we could go pretty much anywhere in Tokyo without renting a car. Overall a very good place to stay for a good price.”

“We stayed one night after our arrival to Narita Airport. This location is one stop away by JR train. Google maps provided walking instructions from the station to the hotel. It is in a neighborhood next to train tracks. I wasn't bothered by train noise overnight, but that could have been due to how exhausted I was. Staff didn't seem to speak English but the check in process included some prepared cards that I read and agreed to. They have free coffee, tea, and breads available in the morning....
