The property, the hosts and the location were all 1outstanding. My husband and I spent a week at this condo and hope that we can go back next year. There are lots of high quality food options extremely close by. Good grocery stores and restaurants. Also the condo is within a mile or so of one of the best Canyons for walking and hiking. The hosts provided a day pass and we went almost every day to walk/hike for a couple of hours. We had a wonderful week! Thank you Weldon & Kristen!

A perfect stay! We will be back!

We were thrilled with this place—our stay was just perfect. It’s a beautiful condo with gorgeous mountain views, lovely decor, great light, and a lovely, roomy balcony, Lots of thoughtful touches and super comfortable. Kristen & Weldon are great communicators, great hosts, and very sweet people. We also loved the location—so close to great hiking and also to Whole Foods and tons of good restaurants. We look forward to coming back!

A great stay

The condo was everything advertised and then some. I have rented several homes on the east coast, and never had as many supplies as were provided here. Besides having all of the kitchen equipment you will expect there was also seasonings, baggies, foil, dishwasher soap, paper towels and more. Plus, laundry pods and drier sheets, extra light bulbs and all the cleaning supplies you could ever need The owners were very responsive to our needs. When we arrived, there was an issue with getting access to the YouTubeTV. But after a couple of text messages and an internet search we had the issue resolved in less than an hour. And their response to any question we had before our stay was answered very promptly. The facilities at the complex are good but not great. The gym and 2 of 3 the pools are across the street from the condo, but the street is very easy to cross. The gym only has dumb bells up to 45 pounds, and the universal machine is limited. So heavy lifting is not available. It was sufficient for a light endurance workout. There are no yoga balls or mats available The pools have plenty of deck chairs available, but if you are looking to do lap swimming they are too short. Four strokes and you have traversed the length of the pool.We had family in the area and everyone who visited the condo loved the saguaro mirror in the guest room. The only amenity I missed was a clock in the living room.This is a unit we would definitely rent again.

Quiet, relaxing, excellent location

The condo was in a beautiful and convenient location - close to Sabino Canyon. The condo unit was clean, modern, and in a quiet building. I would definitely stay here on a future vacation.

fantastic condo in the Catalina foothills

The condo was immaculate with great views in a quiet development. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Great location with easy access to hiking, bicycling, groceries, and several restaurants. I highly recommend.

Not ideal for non-couples

Stayed with a friend, but we ended up needing to share the master bath because the second bathroom is tiny, airline-sized. There’s barely standing room in the tiny 2nd shower. I’d also recommend specifying the parking assignment more prominently in communications. I missed it and ended up with a scolding note on my car. Fortunately I got a warning before getting towed.

A home away from home - love this property

Great property and fantastic view. Hosts were great about keeping in touch, obviously care about your experience and helped us with getting in at midnight. Everything is clean and well kept, appliances seem new and everything worked. Parking was convenient and the apt is close to a lot of good restaurants. We only used the master bedroom, but if a full-sized adult(s) is using the second, definitely let the host know. For us, there was just a small daybed, which was fine. The second bathroom is Manhattan-style tiny, but does have a shower. Pools looked nice and gym was adequate. Would definitely recommend!

Home away from Home

The host made their home a stay that felt like home . They were thoughtful in all areas of being away from home . Every single thing from coffee pods to toothpaste and brushes were provided . The interior was so clean and also inviting . We watched the sunrise that was amazing from the balcony at 0612 every morning . All grocery shopping to have your own meals is a block away . Sabino Canyon is a mile away and the host provided a pass for free entry which we used everyday of our stay !!! I lived on Snyder 10 years ago and this place definitely compared to it . We also used the gym everyday and it had a very good set up as well !! Downtown is very accessible and so munch to do but then you can come back and escape into your own private place !!!! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone !!!

Wonderful Property!

We have just returned from a month long stay at Vista Verde and we miss it already. Weldon and Kristen were terrific host and the unit was prepared flawlessly. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessary cooking supplies. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of relaxing pillows and blankets. The bathrooms were also nicely appointed and full of all the necessary supplies. The glorious views greeted us every morning and the evening vistas of the Catalina’s ( and the serenading of the coyotes) will stay in our memories for a long time. Weldon and Kristen were very proactive in asking about our needs frequently, including when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We recommend Vista Verde strongly. You won’t be disappointed. Wonderful stay

We found the condo comfortable, although the second bedroom is quite tight when both mattresses are set up. There is less than 12" between the mattress and the wall to get to the small closet. The kitchen is very well equipped with high quality dishes and silverware, plenty of drink ware, pots, pans, cookie sheets. There were spices, soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, and many other things we might need. The owners were very responsive when we contacted them. The location is perfect for enjoying Sabino Canyon hiking. The park pass was much appreciated and used daily.

Perfect Stay

Our family stay at the Vista Verde property was perfect. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and gracious. The location couldn't have been better, and the views were amazing. The accommodation was comfortable and in pristine condition. The second bedroom and bathroom were smaller than expected, but certainly did the trick. Just understand that those specific quarters are tight, but did not deter from the stay. We will certainly make our next stay to Tucson at Vista Verde!

weekend getaway

"Vista Verde" is wonderful. The mountain views from the property are amazing! The remodel is fantastic. Fresh, clean, and high-end. Everything is there that your family could need...all the little touches...like makeup towels, night lights, chip clips, water bottles, chargers in every room. I could go on and on. The owners are great communicators and provided a welcome basket (nice touch) and a booklet full of info on the property, and area, including restaurants and hikes. We will absolutely stay again.

Perfect Condo in Beautiful Tucson!

Our family of three absolutely loved our recent stay in this beautiful condo! We appreciated the condo’s excellent location, close to a large variety of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores and minutes away from lovely Sabino Canyon. It makes a great homebase for exploring all of Tucson’s natural wonders and convenient for daytrips, such as to Mount Lemmon, as well. We enjoyed all the condo’s thoughtful details and beautiful styling. The condo is comfortable and very well appointed, with direct views of the surrounding Santa Catalina mountains. It’s so peaceful there, and we loved watching the woodpeckers and doves each day on the Saguaros. We loved seeing the javelinas, and charming roadrunners each day as well! The condo complex is beautifully landscaped, and we enjoyed the excellent fitness center, pools, and hot tub. The covered parking is convenient with helpful protection from the sun. The owners are responsive, professional, and friendly, and it’s clear they want their guests to be comfortable and have a great time! We have stayed in vacation rental properties all over the country, and this condo is definitely one of our family’s favorites! Thank you so much, Kristen and Weldon, for the wonderful time, and we look forward to returning for another stay! We’ve already booked a return trip! The Garner Family

Truly a Million Dollar stay!

What an absolutely perfect place! I’ve traveled all over and this is the first place that I completely forgot was a rental. It was so comfortable, stylish and literally had everything we needed. I felt like I was at home and a five star resort at the same time. The bed and linens were so comfy. The condo was impeccably clean and had all the amenities we needed. The decor is incredible, Kristen… what an eye you have for design! The place is convenient to great restaurants and hiking too. My husband and I had such a lovely “staycation” weekend just relaxing and sipping coffee on the veranda watching the incredible mountain views. We will definitely be booking Weldon and Kristen’s place again when we need a little quiet time away from the world! They were so responsive and easy to work with.
