Nestled among trees on a large section on the edge of Tūrangi, with the mighty Tongariro River just down the road, you’ll enjoy easy access to world-class fly fishing, boating, scenic river walks, and swimming in Lake Taupō. Tongariro National Park is just a short drive away, ideal for unforgettable hikes or skiing on Mount Ruapehu.

Set on an elevated, sun-soaked section in a quiet cul-de-sac, Singlee is a warm and welcoming cottage, surrounded by mature trees. It’s a peaceful green oasis perfect for families, adventurers, and nature lovers alike. You’re just five minutes from the Tūrangi town centre, with supermarkets, cafés, op shops, the i-SITE and more. Stump Bay — a shallow, crystal-clear bay at the southern end of Lake Taupō — is just three minutes north.

Inside, the open-plan living and dining area is full of rustic charm, with a woodburner making it a cosy spot to unwind after a day outdoors. While there’s no TV or Wi-Fi, you’ll find classic board games and good mobile coverage.

The modern, well-equipped kitchen overlooks lush fields where horses graze, enhancing the home’s laid-back charm. Adjacent to the dining table, the deck offers an additional outdoor dining area — surrounded by greenery and always keeping you connected to nature.

Singlee sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms. Bedroom one has a double bed; bedroom two has two singles; and bedroom three offers a double and a single bed and doubles as a rumpus room with beanbags, books, games, and its own heater.

A bathroom with shower, washing machine, and separate toilet and basin offers added convenience. Outside, there’s ample grass parking at the front of the home, with space for a small boat.

Whether you’re here for relaxation or outdoor adventure, Singlee is a character-filled base to explore the best of Tūrangi and the Central Plateau.

Please note, the driveway is slightly steep, and the loft bed in bedroom three will not be included in the bed configuration.

Please be aware that available BBQ is old but provides a Kiwi Classic BBQ experience. Guest are asked to take extra care when using this.
