“Despite a crappy situation as to why we were in town visiting, this property made it all worth it! Everything was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The interior was so welcoming and beautifully decorated. The exterior is absolutely gorgeous with all natural scenery and the landscaping adds the finishing touches. The location is great too as you are submerged in the wilderness but are just a few minutes away from the local towns. My husband and I would definitely stay here again! ”

“We had a wonderful relaxing, weekend at the cabin, very clean, nice treats and staples in the kitchen.Absolutely loved the backyard, woods, fire pit and grill. Hiked the fall trails, highly recommend but not for small kids. Beautiful park, great ice cream stand outside the park. Lots of wildlife, we saw an albino deer!! Favorite part, the silence at night, a much needed respite from city living. ”

“We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

The weather wasn't great, but we were only 15 minutes from our favorite antique mall, and we spent the time at the cabin watching old movies on VCR, reading, and just relaxing on the porch.
