We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. The beds and linens were comfortable. The location was super convenient to town, restaurants and shops. The back deck is welcoming with ample seating in the sun or shade and a nice gas BBQ, should you choose to cook. Many thanks to our host!

This cozy comfortable cabin checked all of the boxes. It was a hot week in August so the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. That said, by dinner time it had cooled down enough to enjoy eating on the spacious deck. In fact we had all of our meals outside. Lots of places to spread out and sit & chat. We also enjoyed the private lake, to which we had access as guests (be sure to let Lorin know you want to swim). We had a wonferful, quiet and pleasurable 4 days!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. The cabin and location worked very well. It's an easy walk to town and easy to get to the lake. The cabin was clean, check in and check out easy. I'll definitely stay here again.

Our Weekend in Twain Harte

The property is fantastic! Your attention to detail at your home is excellent and the home is extremely comfortable! We love that you have one king size bed! That is rare! We would stay again and we would recommend your home to good people. As far as Twain Harte goes, I would want to find out more about access to water, lakes or rivers. We went to Pinecrest both days. I don't think I would want to be there on a crowded summer weekend. We read about the club/resort open in the summer for property owners and their guests. Their list of rules is longer than my arm! And, it's not dog friendly. As with everything, it takes multiple stays to find the good spots. Lastly, because you want guests to have a five-star experience, I am going to reach for a couple suggestions. First, there needs to be some sort of shelf or caddy in the downstairs shower. There is no place to set down your soap or shampoo except the floor. Second, there is no aluminum foil or plastic wrap in the kitchen. Otherwise, the kitchen is stocked well. I love the fact that you have coffee beans, a grinder and filters. We refilled the beans that we used (as everyone should). Fantastic place!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

Perfect Cabin Get-a-Way!

We did a quick overnight trip and accessed Dodge Ridge for snow fun! We had the most fun in the spacious Living Room and the card games we enjoyed on the deck in the morning before returning to the snow.Lovely cabin, quaint and family friendly.

We stayed for a few days and loved the cabin. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. Beds were so comfy. Cabin nice and clean. Host checked in with me to see if we were able to get into cabin. Which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay there again.

Cute Cabin with Everything You Need

Very cute Cabin! Located off the main road so it was quiet. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Best part was the wood burning fireplace!!! Had a nice fire after playing in the snow with our fur baby up at Pinecrest Lake. Very relaxing. Please remember to pick up after your pets. There was a lot of poop left in the yard by previous renters. It's not easy to find a place that's nice and actually allows pets. Please respect the owners property and clean up after your dog goes potty. I want to continue to be able to take my baby on trips and make unforgettable memories. Thank you Lauren for allowing dogs at your beautiful cabin!

Great Twain Harte Location

We have been enjoying Twain Harte every summer for decades. We were fortunate to find this great house this year after our go to TH cabin went off the rental market. After settling in we knew it was the perfect place for our stay. The location is great and the house is comfortable. The back deck is large and its west facing orientation is perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. We made arrangements to return next year before we left! So happy to have found the Cozy Cabin.
