This is a beautiful, comfortable house right next to the back entrance to Joshua Tree. The house is beautifully decorated with plenty of sleeping space. We loved the little touches like the record player, soft towels, and fire pit.
My only feedback for families is that there is a lot of kitsch in this property, which can be challenging for kids who want to touch all the things. The furniture is also older, so some of the chairs and tables are wobbly and need to be delicately handled. The kitchen table is a unique leaf design and part of the stopper is missing so if you aren't careful the leaf will come down with breakfast on it. We luckily caught this before an accident, but it made us adjust where we seated the kids. There's a big back yard with plenty of space for exploring. We would definitely visit again.
