The photos of the house were a bit deceptive. I would describe the house as just old, very outdated & not well-maintained. Rust, gunky bathroom faucets & soap dispenser, dust bunnies, sagging cabinets, well worn rugs. No shade in the backyard. Traffic is rather loud from the front bedroom. Laundry is listed as an amenity, but may not have been available for guest use - - host didn’t reply to my inquiry to verify. The listing states that street parking is ample, however, a park ranger scolded us for parking on the street. Beds were comfy. Location is very conveniently close to entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Checkout process was simple. Checkin process required the old fashioned lockbox with keys. Restrictions to AC temp settings.
