Lake Superior Log Home Retreat

  • Welcome to our new log home / cabin (1700sf 1-3 bed 2 bath) on a ridge near Lake Superior with easy access to Duluth, Two Harbors and beyond. Great “base camp” for your time exploring the North Shore or just relaxing with family and friends in your place on private acreage.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: To keep rates manageable, the rate here is for the house with just the King bedroom. If you want one or both of the other queen bedrooms (each $50/night), just message us once you're booked and we can easily add them.

Great 3 bedroom modern log cabin in woods, nicely furnished, had everything you need. Great communication with host, quick response. Highly recommended, would rent again.

We loved staying here. Enjoyed the remoteness. Kitchen was excellent. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The cabin is a great hideaway tucked into the forest with Lake Superior peeking out over the tops of the birch trees. Quiet and convenient to Duluth, Two Harbors, and a great jumping off point to explore the rest of the North Shore.

Great property- we had some conflicts when getting the full 3 bedrooms. Listening was a bit conflicting. Overall this cabin was so cozy, cute and fit all 5 of us perfectly. If it’s a party more than 5 you’ll struggle seating wise.

Such a beautiful and cozy stay! It was modernized and had everything we needed. My only critique is that the listing is a bit unique/confusing in that it is advertised as a 3 bed, but the price listed only covers one of the bedrooms. If you’d like the additional 2 bedrooms there are add on costs per night. I haven’t encountered this before so it was a surprise to our group, but everything else was lovely.

Host had good communication and the cabin was wonderful. Set back into the timber well off the main road. Cabin is very quiet and well maintained.
