North Shore Log Home near Lake Superior

  • Welcome to our North Shore cabin near Lake Superior! This has been a family project for a couple of years and we're now making it available to guests. It's built with logs so it's very cozy, heavy and quiet inside but still has all modern amenities. It's tucked into acreage near Lake Superior and while it is not directly on the shore, it is close. Also, it's just a few minutes to Two Harbors and 15 or so to Duluth.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: To keep rates manageable, the rate here is for the house with just the King bedroom. If you want one or both of the other queen bedrooms (each $50/night), just message us once you're booked and we can easily add them.

Location was great! Close to everything we wanted to see. We saw deer and turkeys right outside the back porch. Beautiful area to visit.

Secluded cabin close to town. Very quite and comfy. Great place to use as a basecamp for the Northshore waterfall tour.

We had a great stay. We loved the privacy of the cabin, but also being close to trails, restaurants and bars. The cabin was very clean and inviting. We would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spotless, accurately reflected in the listing, and offered a peaceful, private setting that made it easy to relax. The location was perfect — just minutes from Lake Superior and the North Shore, with quick access to restaurants in Two Harbors and several nearby state parks. The host was excellent and made everything smooth from start to finish. Being able to bring my pet was an added bonus. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I was looking for a dog friendly property close to town and Lake Superior with great cleanliness reviews. This property met all these expectations. My dog loved sniffing and exploring the grounds. I had a couple communication snags with the host regarding booking details but it was all ironed out prior to our trip and communication was great during our stay. The beds were on the firm side and comfortable. Overall, a good stay and we were happy with the property

Beautiful property close to two harbors very private location. Our dog enjoyed being off leash and not having to worry about getting hit by a car. The night sky is amazing. There is not any light pollution.

Spacious, modern cabin

Cabin was new, clean, and well-furnished. Bedrooms were comfortable and attractive. Kitchen and bathrooms had what we needed. Multiple gathering spaces on three levels—good for groups. Deck was lovely for bor stargazing

Beautiful brand new cabin!

We had a wonderful time staying here for a cool week in July - a great break from our hot and humid home on the east coast. The cabin is lovingly and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay in the north woods. The beds are very comfortable, as well as the other furnishings. The owners have taken great care to make this a wonderful place to stay no matter the season. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. In addition, the location is very convenient to all the area’s natural destinations as well as shopping - groceries, etc. You won’t be disappointed!
