“When we arrived at the hotel we found the car park easy to find, then followed the signs for reception. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, we were quickly checked in. Then directed to our room, which was very nice, warm and comfortable with a massive bed. It was all very clean and tidy. The only problem was at first we had no hot water but that was quickly rectified. We were soon settled in, then it was time to get some dinner, this was the only thing that we found disappointing...

“The hotel is very nice and the staff very kind and nice too. The room was kind of small and we could hear the noise of the room from the top up of us, so it wasn’t tranquil. The surroundings are so amazing. ”

“The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcomed. The food was incredible and the room excellent. I would highly recommend! :)”

“Such a nice place to stay and very beautifully antique yet modern. The view of the castle was amazing from our room and it was a nice walk through the quaint town to visit the castle. Breakfast was great and so nice that it was included. Dinner was very good too.”

“Acogedor el hotel, desayunos variados según solicitud del pasajero, entorno agradable ”

“The hotel is very well run and the hosts are very helpful. The rooms are a decent size. Although it took a while for the water to warm up in the shower. I acknowledge that this is beyond the owner’s control, but my second floor room overlooked a junction and the traffic was noisy . At about 4am a lorry collected the empty glass bottles. The noise of the crash as the glass shattered was shocking. Avoid a roadside room on a Wednesday morning….if you want undisturbed sleep.”

“The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. There are several comfortable seating areas of various sizes and styles. The restaurant is very large and the food and service is very good. The breakfasts are particularly enjoyable with a plentiful range for self-service. The outdoor swimming pool was heated, despite it being October when we stayed there. There is also a small indoor pool...

“Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained. Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.”

“David and Lorna were lovely. Nice warm welcome and explained what was on offer and asked if there was anything that we needed. They were off on a short family break leaving the In Laws to cover Breakfast etc. Incl checking out and settling the bill 'if this had not already been done with David or Lorna before they had left'. Slight Communication breakdown we felt but overall had a fab stay. Reccommeded by us.”

“Un excelente servicio, desde la recepción y todo el personal del hotel.”

“On arrival the young lady started to check us in then decided to assist another customer leaving us waiting to finally being checked 5 minutes later by a male member of staff who also made a comment as to why she didn’t finish checking us in. The male member staff was helpful and showed us to our room, which really lovely. However the only downside to the room was not being able to open the windows for fresh air and they were covered in condensation due to poor circulation. We headed into...

“The hotel was quite dated but rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.”
