“My husband and I really love this property not because of its location, which is absolutely beautiful-but because it is the complete package. The updates made were very very nice. Loved having coffee outside the deck. We were able to relax, play games and enjoy ourselves in a beautiful setting! The communication with the owner was great! “We had a wonderful stay. The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails.”

“I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful...

“This was a wonderful site that I would love to visit again. The river flowing by was so beautiful. I would like to stay again when we don’t have so much rain. The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river.”

“The place is very cute. Perfect for a couple. It had everything we needed. The place was very clean and kept, and considering the location and time of year not very buggy at all. “This house was perfect for our party of 7. Spacious and comfortable for all. Very secluded and quiet area. A short drive to Lake Placid Olympic museum and arenas. We also stopped at the ski jump area and watched the young jumpers practice. Highly recommend! Check out Emma’ Lake Placid Creamery. Excellent!”

“We could not have asked for a better setting for relaxing away from it all. Cabin was very well equipped allowing us to prepare our own meals. The location right at the water with its own beach was ideal for reading a book or casting a line. Property owners were very responsive and perfect hosts! “What a wonderful place. The cottage ‘Margot’ was a great place to call home during our visit to Westport. The pictures of this place convey an accurate image.
