“Communication with the host was great. We only stayed one night but wish that we were there longer. Ferry reservations dictated the short stay. There’s something quite special about staying in a log house with a roaring fire. What really appealed was the history of the house, including the pictures of the family over the many years. It was super clean and there was so much space. Feels off the beaten path but only a few minutes from the main road. ”

Thefood at the restaurant was really good, however they have very few options to chose from. They closed it one day due to lack of staff and it's usually just open for dinner after 5pm. They should have it available from early morning since it's the only place to have something decent to eat besides the coffee store next to the hotel where they only have sandwiches. Staff in general are super nice. The deck to the lake could also use some renovations. "
