Great Getaway - Hope to Return!

The home was chic, modern and clean - exactly as described. The house was centrally located - it was easy to get to the beach, markets, and restaurants. Not having to drive everywhere was great! The hosts were quick to respond to questions and made sure we had everything we needed.

Excellent Stay and Vacation Home!

What an amazing vacation home. We loved the design and cool layout of the house and the location is perfect! You can easily walk to the beach in one direction and in the other direction, quick access to Blackcurrant Bakehouse and the corner stores. The whole family loved the ping pong table in the garage!

Perfect weekend getaway

Perfect location. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach, less than 5 minutes to the best bakery around, and just a quiet area of Union Pier made for a lovely weekend. The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. My family had an amazing time. Owner was very responsive to my couple of questions and we cannot wait to return!

Perfect stay in union pier

The property was exactly as shown in the listing- modern with a thoughtful layout and sparkling clean when we arrived. Check in and parking was very easy as well. The location was great - within walking distance to the public beach and near the market and a bakery. We look forward to returning!

Great Vacation!!!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this property at Union Pier. The house is new and modern. High end finishes on the inside and outside of the property. Spotless inside and clean. Extremely roomy. Our family loved the ping pong table and easy access to the beach at the end of the street. Easy walk to the doughnut shop and other local shops. Enjoyed visiting the other towns in the area however, we found this location had everything to offer with a more relaxing touch. Additionally, Heather was easily accessible and always responded to our texts. Overall this is a great property and location that our family would definitely recommend!!!

Great property - poor communication

I messaged the property manager right after I booked our stay back in the summer about the possibility of a slightly early check in, no response. I waited and reached out again months later, still no response. It’s fine if the answer is no, but it’s really stressful not to get any response at all and show up to a new property and just hope it all works out. We arrived at 3pm, check in was 4pm, nothing was posted in the app regarding how we would get the code to check in and still no contact. At 4pm I checked the app, no entry code. We were out to lunch at that point, but on our way back the owner finally texted me. Apparently I was supposed to get some sort of automatic email with the key code which I never received. However, I didn’t even know to anticipate the email. Once we got on the property it was absolutely lovely. The house is new, clean, clearly set up for couples and families. Great location near a cute shopping center with coffee and pastries. So overall we loved the property once we had access. If there had been better communication up front, this would be fives all around.

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and nice modern decor. The front door & deck lock was tricky at first but figured it out :) Close walk to the beach but not close enough if your hauling chairs, cooler & beach toys/items but very short drive. Grocery & coffee shop short few minute walk. We would stay again!

Location Location Location

New modern and clean home with perfect location. 8 minute walk to Lake Michigan. 3 minute walk to bakery and market. 5 minute walk to Union Pier Social. Nothing not to like. Home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Spacious yet cozy. Heather is communicative and knowledgeable.

Loved this place! So clean and brand new!!!

This place was fabulous. It was so nice and new. Everything was clean. The bathrooms were so nice! The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a perfect place for a family. We couldn't have loved it more and will definitely be back. Heather was great and very helpful!! It was also a great location right by Black Currant Bakery! :)

Great Michigan Getaway

Our family loved this large vacation house in Union Pier. Walk to the local beach and town center. Short drive to New Buffalo and Warren Dunes, one of the best beaches in Michigan.

Great location, Great house, Great host

We loved our short stay in Union Pier. House was modern and clean. Great kitchen and wet bar area. Nice 2nd story deck. Beds were very comfortable, ping pong table was a hit with the kids. Walking distance to bakery for breakfast. Beach is at the end of street you can walk to as well. We drove a short drive to St Joseph, Michigan for the day and loved the shopping and restaurants. We rented Jet Skis in New Buffalo which is minutes away. Overall a great getaway in a great area that has a little something for everyone. Host is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Spacious, clean, and close to the beach

We stayed with our 3 young children for a long weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Beautiful finishes throughout. The house is located a block or so from the town center - we visited the gelato shop and the bakery! The beach was a quick 10 or so minute walk in the other direction. One thing I would point out was that the listing indicated the master bedroom had a king sized bed. This was not the case - I believe it may have been a Queen. Not a big deal for us, but that may make a difference for other guests.
