“I am a repeat customer here and appreciate the 5 star cleanliness. If you are looking for amenities outside the room, no pool, gym, bar etc. and a good nights rest is all you need, this is it at an affordable price. For seniors like me, it would be helpful if the bathtub area had grab bars . All in all a good place to stay.”

“Excellently run family motel. Sam and her staff do a wonderful job! Even free home made muffins and coffee in the office in the morning. Easy on/off Hwy. And an easy walk to Wawa Lake. We would definitely stay again.”

“The room was fine. However, it would have been nice to know the restaurant was not yet open for the season. The website lauded the restaurant and noted being open year-round. The billboards on the roads also praised the restaurant. Disappointed as that is one of the reasons for choosing this location over others.”

“This is an old motel that I believe is being renovated one room at a time. Unfortunately, our room was not one of the newly renovated ones and was, quite frankly, disgusting! We are not picky but have an expectation of clean. The only thing that was clean was the bed. The floor had not been vacuumed, the fridge was dirty, the microwave was filthy and I could hardly bring myself to even use the bathroom, certainly no shower was had. “In our travels, this is the first time a property "by Wyndham" has failed in cleanliness, and upkeep of amenities. The foyer and breakfast room and pool area looked well-kept but beyond that.... elevator carpeted floor and hallway truly awful. What looked like sawdust. A carpenter lives here? Trying to be just. The room: Sour smell, double bed, water stains on ceiling. AC adequate but filter needed cleaning and missing a knob. Bathroom: sink not cleaned, dark something and splatters around...

“Checking in was ok. I was given a key for the room the guy showed me where to go as it was in a separated building. When I walked in the room had not been clean yet (930 pm). I went back to the check in counter and told him. He was shocked and happy to give me a different room with no charge. This room was in the same building upstairs. The room was clean. It was a cheap hotel there before we get what you pay for.”
