Apartamentos en Upper Hammonds Plains

“This property is not accessible, the entrance is in the back to which I had to drag my luggage down a small slope and then across some gravel to get to the door. There was no step at the door so it was difficult for me to get my luggage up into the unit and then myself. The price increase from what you showed and then what I actually was charged was substantial and they only allowed less then 24 hours for cancellation.”

“Excellent Host. Very helpful. Even offered to help us with our Luggage at 4 am for our early departure.”

“It's a quaint little unit and clean. Bathroom is actually just outside the unit and down the hall but it was a lrovate one just for us. The location is excelent but it was very loud. The street action just below our window went on until 3am both nights. Bring good ear plugs or you won't be sleeping much.”

“The property is huge and was clearly refurbished recently. The location was very convenient to museums, restaurants, waterfront, etc. The parking deck across the way was adequate and did not break the bank (I think we paid about $40 for the parking for our two-night stay). Getting into the building and up to the room was a little convoluted, but the directions the host provided in advance of checkin were clear. However, no guest manual was provided explaining things like how to sort the trash...

“It was super clean and nice. I only wish they supplied coffee and sugar. Like some other places I’ve been to in Europe.”

“The location is perfect for being close to Boardwalk. Kitchen great- appliances. Close to grocery store. Mold in corner of tub and superficial breaks in the lining of the tub. Very dim living room area— only 2 of 7 working bulbs in very high ceiling.”

“Loved our stay in Halifax and this home was perfectly located to all. The home was immaculate and beautifully appointed with all modern necessities. Loved the balcony for taking in the views while relaxing with a nice cup of coffee. The floor to ceiling windows allow for abundant sunshine throughout, with privacy shades for evening. Just as pictured in the listing. Our host was always quickly responsive to any questions and we had no concerns or problems. 2 blocks to the waterfront boardwalk,...

“Conveniently located in the South End of downtown Halifax, this VRBO is in an amazing location. It’s a short walk to the waterfront, great restaurants, Queen’s Marque, and the Public Gardens. I enjoyed the area and felt very safe walking everywhere. The Blue George room looked generally like the listing, but the decor felt less refined in person than in the photos. There was no AC in this unit, but the fan worked well to cool the room. It may be helpful for travelers expecting a traditional...

“The apartment was perfect for a stay in Halifax - spotless with plenty of space and walkable to the wharf and lots of restaurants.”

“Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the accommodations provided during my stay beginning on August 8, 2026. Upon arrival, we discovered that the lock on our assigned room was defective and could be opened without a key card, presenting a significant security concern. After demonstrating the issue to front desk personnel, we were reassigned to another room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was in an equally unacceptable condition, with visible...
