My family group (4 adults, 2 kids ages 9 and 12) had an amazing stay in Kallapawai for 4 nights. I don’t even know where to begin! The main factors that made this such a stellar experience was our host Maykol’s top notch attentiveness and accommodation of our needs, kindness, and genuine interest in us having a positive experience. The meals provided by Maykol and his wife were so delicious and I could tell they were out together with great care! I highly recommend doing at least one of their meals. The rental we stayed in was so lovely and quaint! I loved sitting on the couch in the morning as the sun was warmly streaming in. My husband loved drinking his coffee outside in the morning and listening to the birds. The view from the windows and yard is simply stunning! The Andes mountain range that the property is nestled against is very beautiful. We also could not have been happier with our guide and driver that Maykol had arranged for us. Both were sooo accommodating, endearing, great company, and seemed to genuinely want us to have the best experience possible. Our guide was very knowledgeable and always attentive. Maykol went above and beyond in helping us to get a guide and transportation several times even after we left his property. I have not had an experience like this with any other host. Between Maykol and the property, I would definitely come back here again!
