“The cottage was so very charming and it definitely felt one stepped back in time! THe location was superb. Wonderful positive surprises (did not pick up fully in the listing) included the gas powered fireplaces (there are two!) and cozy, private garden patio in back. One item I missed on the listing was that there was only one Bath/shower and it was on the main floor - not where the bedrooms are located - that said, the water was hot and there were plenty of cushy towels! “It was a cute cottage. The neighborhood is run down though. It’s surrounded by trailers that are all rusty. The door knob to the bathroom broke while we were there and we got locked in a couple times which was scary. The hot tub needed maintenance and the fire pit didn’t work. The house could use some updates and a new couch but it did its job. It was fun. I had a good time in Ohio. I’m a New Yorker it was a nice weekend trip. ”

“Everything was as advertised. Really nice property on a private location. Very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need. Highly recommend! ”

“Hot tub is wonderful, although we didn’t use it due to being so busy fishing. The property is pet friendly. There is plenty of stuff to do around the home. The lake is not far. There is a good pizza place and some stores within 5 minutes of the place. There is plenty of supplies there at the home also. They keep it very equipped with dishes, cooking materials, and towels. I would come back.”

“We had a great stay while moving our daughter back to Kenyon. The location can't be beat. Everything was spotless and the amenities are perfect. We didn't get to use the patio, but it's a beautiful space. We saw two neighborhood cats who liked to hang out under our car, so that was a special treat. Christy and Bob are super responsive and it was great having them as our hosts. ”

“We stayed here with another couple and we all loved it! Spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. The layout is unique. The hot tub was huge and love that it is covered. We enjoyed the hot tub during a rain storm. The weather didn’t cooperate but we would have loved to utilize the fire pit. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place. There was nothing we were disappointed with. ”

“Unfortunately we had to cancel this rental. The house was very dirty and the photos on the listing are rather misleading. It has rugs in all bedrooms even though it looks like wood. Terrible smell throughout and built up grime in kitchen. The basement was full of water and there is an open sewer drain. Also, the rear of the house is rented out and the front of the house is full of tire tracks filled with stagnant water. The front door was covered in mud splatter. Sorry but really needs to be...
