  • Welcome to the Charlotte Suite. This newly renovated historic lofted condo is located in downtown Utica, IL (Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks). It will accommodate up to 4 guests, but is ideal for a romantic getaway or a girls trip with a king sized bed and queen size sofa sleeper. This is not a place to party but to relax and enjoy. The lower level of The Bickerman is home to Bruce & Ollie’s Coffee, Ice Cream and Deli. It is a place for everyone to enjoy! The building has been restored while maintaining it’s rich history!

Beautiful loft with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great location with terrific food options right downstairs at Bruce and Ollie’s.

Great stay!

Perfect place to stay after hiking all day. Plenty of places to eat and drink just right outside. The loft was very clean and lovely!

Great place to stay!! We walked to multiple bars/restaurants, stores, and activities. Parked the truck when we got there and didn't need it until it was time to go home. Keep in mind you'll need to navigate plenty of stairs, but so quiet and relaxing being elevated above the busy street activities below. Easy check in, super clean, plenty of kitcken gadgets and linens.

It was a very nice clean Homey place. Our only drawback was lots of steps when you enter. We stayed in the loft and there was stairs up to the bedroom, but other than that, everything was excellent.

Hiking & Relaxing

Amazing 3 night trip to Utica in this newly renovated condo. Located above a unique coffee shop and across the street from a sports bar with excellent food. Starved Rock State Park has many trails to hike and is just minutes away.

Perfect city getaway

Came out this way to do a weekend of hiking and relaxing outside of the city and this place didn’t disappoint. Super clean, updated, and most importantly comfortable! The area is incredible and includes a lot to do right outside the door to this place. Would come back for ice cream and coffee and Bruce and Ollie’s and a beer at Ginger Road any day!

Such a cute place! We had everything that we could have needed! Bed was super comfy! Slept 12 hours!!!! Ideal locale for a girls night, or a spot with your special someone. ! We will all be back!

Wonderful weekend

Came to Utica for the Wine Walk. The location was perfect. The suite was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Communication with the owner was great. We enjoyed staying over the shop, which had great coffee and tasty food. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Will definitely come back.

Luxury Loft

The Loft was an incredible space to relax and enjoy ourselves when not hiking, shopping or dining. Very well maintained and furnished with everything you need. In this day and age it is a blessing to find accommodations that exceed your expectations.

Just Beautiful!!

What a beautifully renovated and historic place to stay for a quick girls getaway! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and instructions were clear and simple. The pull out couch was a little uncomfortable to sleep on, but I think that’s par for pull out couches lol. We would 100% stay again! Thank you!
