Es una cabaña bien acogedora y familiar! Nos levantamos con el sonido de los pájaros y nos acostamos con el de los Búhos. Todo estaba muy limpio y organizado. El anfitrión fue muy amable, estuvo pendiente y respondió todas nuestras preguntas. La piscina muy limpia y nos encantó porque la pudimos utilizar en la noche por su calentador. En general todo estuvo muy bien, la recomiendo y volvería sin lugar a dudas!

Una casita hermosa en el bosque de Río Abajo, el host de este lugar es tan espectacular cómo el lugar en sí. Cada detalle bien pensado, te hace sentir como en casa. Mi familia y yo amamos cada momento allí. Conectamos con la naturaleza, conectamos como familia y ya estamos planeando regresar.

This place was amazing, not because it was some fancy modern upscale home which it wasn't but it was a nice cozy secluded bit of paradise with lots of charm! If you want to truly relax and feel like your in the jungle this is the place. Would definitely come back!!

The cabin was clean, quiet, and private. The cabin was a fun rustic setting in the best way. It was an ideal spot for our family to spend 5 days. This place was even better than the photos.

This is a beautiful place nestled in the forest. Very private, with a beautiful view of the night sky from the heated pool. It had everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive to all our questions. A truly magical place

Beautiful place Secluded and peaceful . Def don’t feed the wild cats that start showing up when cooking in particular unless you want them trying to steal your food lol Glad there was a inside ac unit( which was a bonus actually not mentioned in posting ) in the main bedroom or would of been unbearable at night with the heat of July . Only other thing I’d suggest is screening at least or replacing with windows with screens the window blocks in the kitchen and bathroom. Since those are both open to the outside with out screens def allowed a lot of Bugs in that had to buy some sprays and stuff to put all around them and try and prevent bugs from coming in. But in general an amazing stay def worth it . Just know to get most the stuff you need before coming cause a trip to the store is like at least a 45mins to a hour each way

We really enjoyed our serene stay. What a magical and calming home and property! We loved hearing the coquis at night and spotting different birds during our mornings in the pool. If you’re looking to be immersed in nature but have all of the necessary modern comforts, this is for you! We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Staying here was honestly one of the best decisions we made during our trip to Puerto Rico. The property is absolutely stunning, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, while still being only a couple of minutes off the highway which made exploring the island incredibly easy.Renting a car and staying outside of San Juan gave us such a better experience overall. We were able to enjoy the quiet, slower side of Puerto Rico while still having easy access to beaches, hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, and day trips.The stay itself was simple in the best possible way: clean, comfortable, relaxing, and thoughtfully organized. The instructions for check-in and the property were clear and easy to follow, which made everything stress-free from the moment we arrived.One of my favourite parts was falling asleep to the sounds of nature every night and then coming back after long days of hiking and activities to cool off in the pool and relax in the hammock. It was the perfect refresh after being out exploring in the heat all day.You can tell a lot of care goes into this property and into hosting guests. 10/10 stay and I would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Puerto Rico getaway outside the city.

We completely adored our stay at the cabin. It was cozy, had a wonderful indoor/outdoor living atmosphere. We loved the wildlife and plant life, from the frogs, lizards, to the cats and fowl. We used the binoculars to collect a few new birds for our life list. Cooking at the cabin was especially enjoyable, we cooked most meals with things from the local market and couldn't get enough of meals made on the brick oven barbecue! We had some area adventures planned but ended up spending most of our time relaxing at the cabin we loved it so much!

It’s better than the listing suggests.

It’s totally secluded, has a nice little pool that we used twice but honestly it was the serenity of the place that made it so wonderful. It is among the top 3 places I’ve stayed. And that includes Europe, and the US.

Relax at the cabin in the moutains

This cabin is a little paradise hidden in the mountains. Decorated with taste, very well appointed with an outside little pool and a nice terasse, it is one of the most enchanting Air B&B we have been . The directions given by the owner were clear, we easily found the place despite a late evening arrival. Do not hesitate to book your stay there !

Great spot so peaceful

Such a peaceful stay. Pool was heated with jets and great to relax in daily. Host kept in good contact and asked how are stay was going every couple days which I appreciated. Good amount of games to play which was a nice touch. Selectos and Walgreens was 10 minutes away which was nice

Its Ok

Place is beautiful, but we lost power for couple hours. In daytime inside the cabin is very hot. No A/C and the jacuzzi the water is very hot as well Outside the cabin its too many cats. So we stay for 2 nights. Thanks God!

Excellent location in the forest

This place was great - we stayed here so we could easily get to one of the river adventures that is about 30 minutes away. It is a simple cottage but has everything we needed for a few nights. It’s nice to get away from the crowded tourist areas and relax by the little pool. The owner was helpful with information and quick to get back to us when we had questions. I do feel the price is a little high, but not unreasonable.

Relaxing in nature

Simple, very remote holiday home accommodation, but lacking nothing. Perfectly equipped, with a small pool and wonderful birdsong and crickets chirping, even at night. Up to 6 cats come to visit every day. Access to the property and house is well organized. WiFi available, otherwise no WiFi.

RELAXING

This place is so cozy and relaxing! The outside was our favorite part! You are surrounded by the sounds of nature! There were so many beautiful birds, little lizards, coqui frogs, fruits, vegetables, plants, it’s great! The inside was perfect for my husband and I with an extra bedroom. THIS is Puerto Rico! It’s not all beautiful beaches and waterfalls, the rain forests are amazing❤️

This is such a wonderful property in the beautiful mountains of Puerto Rico. It was close enough to the town of Utuado that we could go grab dinner or groceries, but far enough that we felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere. So quiet and peaceful. My kids spent hours searching the property for frogs and lizards and loved it when the cats, chickens and dogs came to visit. The pool was also so nice for relaxing and the hammock was argued over.The cabin had everything we needed and Rosario was kind enough to leave a basket of delicious snacks. Roasrio was in touch to make sure that we had everything we needed and I really appreciated her communication. Overall, such a great cabin and a beautiful, unique area of Puerto Rico!

Incredible Property

Rosario’s property is an incredible find! I spent a week here while working in the area, and it was perfect. Its location tucked away inside the Rio Abajo forest is prefect for getting some peace and quiet. There is no AC but the fans, and dehumidifier inside of the home make the home quite tolerable during those hot days (not to mention the pool as well.) Rosario was also super helpful with providing information about the rental, as well as things to do in the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone who’s looking for a little extra peace and quiet. I personally will definitely be staying again.
