ILMATAR is an extraordinary private accommodation concept built around a retired 35-seat SAAB 340B passenger aircraft. Surrounded by peaceful nature and authentic Finnish landscapes, this unique destination offers a rare blend of aviation nostalgia, luxury, and Nordic serenity.

The aircraft itself has been transformed into an elegant accommodation and lounge space where guests can indulge in a truly unforgettable stay. Inside the cockpit, you’ll find the exclusive Captain’s Suite for two, where you can drift off beneath soft linens while gazing at the starry night sky. The airplane cabin features a cozy lounge area, a sofa bed, and even a unique airplane sauna unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Next to the aircraft stands the charming villa building, also known as the “Control Tower,” offering additional accommodation and relaxation spaces. The villa includes:

two separate bedrooms
a fully equipped kitchen
comfortable living areas
modern bathroom facilities
a traditional Finnish wood-heated sauna

To complete the experience, guests can unwind in the outdoor jacuzzi under the open sky.

The property also features the Skyline Cabin, a cozy private retreat with sleeping space for two additional guests.

ILMATAR is rented exclusively to one group at a time, ensuring complete privacy and tranquility for your stay. The total accommodation capacity is up to 10 guests.
