  • Vintage ski decor adorns the walls of this lodge style condo - come inside and take a load off! Brew yourself up a cup of coffee from the kitchenette and take it out to the walk-out patio. Enjoy the views of Vail Mountain and the Gore Creek; take in the fresh mountain air. Wine glasses are available in case you want something extra refreshing. When guests come back from a long day on the mountain, they can pop in a DVD and relax on the king bed. Guests will also be able to enjoy shared amenities during their stay, such as a heated outdoor pool and three hot tubs!

    What's nearby:
    Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. One floor up you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Convenient Ski-in, Ski-out condo.

The property and staff were wonderful. The location was extremely convenient being ski-in, ski-out at Lionshead with ski valet. The staff and concierge were very helpful and prompt responding to any requests. We will definitely look to stay again.

Great place to stay!

The location of this place is great. The room is exactly as described. Can be a little noisy as it is next to the common area and elevator. Overall would recommend staying here!

Everything you needed

We loved how easy it was to get to the hot tub after a long day of skiing. The gondola was right there too. Will def stay here again. In the listing it doesn’t mention there is a mini fridge but there is, which was a nice surprise.

Best location!

This is the closest hotel to the lift and has a ski valet too. The back door leads to the pool and hot tubs. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Perfect ski in-out location in Lions Head. Ski valet is VERY convenient. Staff is welcoming, professional, and helpful. Outdoor hot tub is beautiful, just below the ski bridge. And the restaurant inside the building is quite good, has an eclectic bar menu, welcoming staff, and is incredibly convenient. Would stay here again in a minute!

Great room and excellent staff

The staff was great and friendly from the moment I arrived at Lion Square. Jazmin was especially helpful and welcoming! The room has a great location right off the pool on the first floor with a great view of the mountain. It was clean and well-equipped with what I needed for my stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel room in Lionshead.

Great location!

This was the perfect location for my son and me! He is 11 and it gave us easy access to the hot tub and pool. The room was perfect for the two of us. I only wish that there would’ve been a second trashcan available as we were filling up the tiny bathroom trashcan daily. We loved being steps away from the gondola and all that Lionshead has to offer! We would definitely rent this room again!

Perfect location for affordable ski-in/ski-out trip

Excellent little room in a perfect location of Lionshead. The gondola is ~60 second walk away with loads of fun restaurants and bars a stone's throw away.

Amazing Ski Stay!

Lions Square Lounge is a gem. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. It was everything that was described and more. Super convenient to the slopes…literally you walk outside onto the slopes. You can’t beat the scenery behind the heated pool and hot tubs. The Vail Chophouse, Tavern and El Sabre are right next door. We cannot say enough good things about our stay!

Fun getaway!

Great location and love the pool/hot tubs. We have stayed here but not in this room many times. Only a couple of reasons for not giving it 5 stars and that is there is literally no where to hang up winter clothes after a day of being on the slopes and the room had a bit of an odd smell to it. Otherwise bed was comfy and the room was nice sized.
