Great Family Location

Property was great for our family of 4. Kids enjoyed the pool, parents enjoyed the hot tub. Quick walk to Lionshead lifts/ski school.

Great

We had a great stay. The location is right behind the playground at lionshead , which was perfect for our children, also close to the skating rink. The space is well designed, rennovated. Beds comfy, TV’s in every room. Only thing I can think of that we needed were some throws for the sofa, so we could cuddle in the fireplace after a cold ski day. Other than that, perfect.

It was truly a ski in and out, they provide access for locker rooms and a locker which made it very easy to wear up. The apartment was nice and cozy and very clean. The staff were very attentive and Sally was a gem during the booking process. Definitely going back and recommending it.

Great stay and location but…

Would have loved to give this place 5 stars. Location was great, staff was incredible, check in was easy, onsite parking was wonderful, steps to shopping, gondola and river. However, it was impossible to sleep. Without air conditioning in the unit, we were depending on sleeping with the windows open, and excited for a cool nights sleep in the mountain air. I could not have been more wrong. The building faces highway 70 so sleeping with the windows open…all you hear is highway noise and it’s loud. Sleeping with the windows closed made for a hot and stuffy sleepless night. It was a bummer.

Very nice place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great unit for our family (two parents, two teenage kids). Plenty of room, almost everything was in great shape. Water dispenser on the fridge didn't work. Highway noise was pretty loud with any windows open, but completely quiet with the windows closed. Short walk to everything in Lionshead Village, and just a few minutes drive to anywhere else we needed to go.

High-end modern renovations; ground floor unti; quiet; views of the ski resort and short walk to the gondola. Well stocked kitchen (felt like home); comfortable beds and a pullout sofa that was extremely comfortable. Underground parking and outdoor shared grill were appreciated. Front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Can't say enough positive things about this unit - would definitely pick again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been going for more than 30 years to WESTWIND, once or twice a year. At year end I have been renting 4 appartments. The prices have gone up in an important manner and the services have been less and less. You are not servicing the appartments daily, the appartments are not functioning well, they needed to be upgraded. We like WESTWIND but don’t try to charge more and give less, you will loose your customers.

Clean, modern/updated - perfect for two couples (or one family). Will be even better when there's more snow on the mountains and the lifts nearby are open for skiing.

Property was well appointed and extremely comfortable. Went with another couple to see the fall colors. Easy check-in. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful condo in Lionshead

We had a bit of a hard time checking in as we arrived past 4 o’clock and the check-in desk was closed, there was no phone number on the Vrbo app… However I later saw that they had sent me an email with the check in instructions… Overall the stay was really pleasant.
