  • This vacation condo has 'mountain vibes' written all over it with a charming and delightful ambience. Groups or a family can come together in this corner condo with three balconies, boasting views of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, Gore Creek and Skier Bridge. You can also spy the shared resort hot tub and pool! The views of the Vail ski slopes may inspire legendary runs at the slopes. Guests can relax around the river rock gas fireplace, set up with an impressive widescreen TV right above so you can enjoy your favorite shows in comfort. Enjoy a meal in front of the fire, at the dining table, or at the breakfast bar. The massive sectional sofa is sure to be the site of some delicious après ski gatherings. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher and plenty of counter space to prep, can handle all your cooking projects. Rest in the two comfortable bedrooms (one including a private balcony), or pull out the sofabed and fall asleep in front of the fire. Guests of this condo can also enjoy shared amenities at Lion Square Lodge, such as the heated outdoor pool, fitness center and three hot tubs.

    Of course, the biggest draw of this condo is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Had a fantastic weekend getaway. This property has an amazing view of the mountain, and is steps away from all the restaurants and shops. It was nice and quiet at night, you can hear the river if you have the windows open. Parking is right at the hotel which is nice. Host was excellent... thank you for a great trip!

Amazing!

This is a beautiful property- we have been going to Vail for 30 yrs - skiing, biking and hiking. This property is definitely one of our favorites. It overlooks gore creek and is steps to everything! Jump right on the nature trail and go for a run, walk or bike:) We loved everything about the property - the only thing we did not like was leaving!

This condo has a great floorplan and nice FR furnishings. small kitchen was all we really needed. would stay here again for the location and building amenities.

Location Location

The property is ideally located, steps away from the gondola and Born Free lift. The amenities including the slope side hot tubs were terrific. Fresh hot chocolate chip cookies when we came off the slopes with the concierge were a nice touch. The views from the windows and balconies were exceptional. The photos on the website accurately portray the accommodations.

Beautiful unit with the best view up the mountain and Gondola! Very comfortable. Bedrooms are a little warm and temperature was not able to be lowered so we slept with windows cracked which was fine. We love the location and staff!

Comfort at Lionshead sq lodge

The location as we are repeat customers. What I did not care for was lack of anyone ever answering the phone including you folks at Vaccasa! For a short stay, your location is tough to beat. We’ve stayed at Vail Spa for 10 yrs but my age makes it easier to access lifts etc without that walk!

Location, Location, Location!!!

It's all about location. The condo itself is about equivalent to a 3-3.5 star hotel. Comfortable living room area to socialize as a family. However, the mattresses are awful... hard as hell. 3 bad nights of sleep. For the price, the little things should be paid attention to. How is it we had a kitchen sink faucet that was hardly attached to the counter. Maintenance came right up to fix it, but they made it so tight that it couldn't turn and the hose wouldn't come it. Not much need for hotel phones anymore, but they don't work. Need to call guest services from cell phone. Comfort ... thank god for doors and windows. This place was SO HOT at night. Thermostat was set for 60 and temp was 77 (for heat). For what it's worth, women like makeup mirrors on the walls in the bathrooms that are on folding arms. This unit doesn't have them. The TV ... Dish TV is great. But how can you be in Vail and NOT get TV8. It's essential every morning. Also at this price, the unit should have some type of speaker system that people can connect to by bluetooth or SONOS. That's basic in 3 star hotels. Luckily, the hot tub works and was great. The staff is even better. They make the place 3 star instead of 1 or 2. If you can deal with the shortcomings mentioned here, it's great as the location is unbeatable.

Fantastic Property and Location

Our stay was fantastic. The unit was every bit as described, and the location is even better than I expected. It is literally at the base of the gondola, which can be seen from the unit. I definitely recommend this property and would book it again in an instant.
