  • Step inside your own personal lodge and relax in front of the gas fireplace! Better yet, grill up some delicious food out on the balcony's private gas grill while enjoying a view of the village. The rest of the group can finish up in the kitchen or wait impatiently in the dining area or at the breakfast bar. Feel like a fresh cup of coffee? We provide coffee grounds so you can start your mornings right. This condo's unique loft area provides additional space for guests to rest and store gear - it has its own balcony and views of the mountain! Guests will also have access to every one of the Lion Square Lodge shared amenities, including a shared heated outdoor pool and three shared hot tubs!

    Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

We weren't here for skiing, but this would be the best spot since you walk out and there is the gondola. Also, restaurants are everywhere with an easy walk to Vail Village.

Great weekend get away.

We stayed at the Lion Heads Lodge for a wedding and had a great time. The lodge is in a perfect location for enjoying great food and weekend fun. The views are fantastic. The gardens at the lodge and in town are amazing. We enjoyed the pool, food, and local talent at nearby eateries and bars. It was a beautiful place for the wedding!

Fantastic experience

The unit was super clean, well appointed and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Great views. The pool and hot tubs were beautiful and clean. The workout facilities were in good shape and had everything we needed, including a sauna. Every staff member we had contact with was polite, knowledgeable and responsive. The location can’t be beat. Would definitely stay here again!

For ski trips location is fundamental for us, this is a true ski in/out location which makes travel with family way easier. Property is clean and very well kept. Will come back again if available!

fantastic location, SO close the the gondola. An easy walk to everything! Loved having daily cleaning service. The condo itself was so nice & had everything we needed. Love the layout, decks, etc. Ps: ski valet was super friendly & helpful

Perfect, Skislope side condo/hotel

Large enough for five friends to spread out and enjoy a three day jaunt. With all the amenities and convinces of a hotel, maid service, sauna, hot tub, steam! Plus a wonderful staff, who dealt with every one of our requests with aplomb.

Great Location

The lodge is on a great location just steps from the gondola. Ski valet right there too. Very happy with apartment and all furnitures. Note stairs to the loft are very steep. Loft has another balcony facing the mountains!

Wonderful home, super spacious, stayed here with my husband and 4 kids there was plenty of room to sleep. The loft is almost like a seperate bedroom. Two balconies one view of the parking lot and the other of Vail mountain. Ski in ski out, staff is wonderful and super accommodating. Kitchen has everything you need.

Vail Lion Square Condo Review

We arrived at Vail Lion Square and was greeted by the most helpful front desk person. He was very helpful and friendly. We made the reservation through Sarah at Gondola Resorts online, and had exceptional service. The directions were not all that great, but we called and clarified where to checkin. I would stay here again. Its convenient to shopping and restaurants, too.

Nice Ski-in Ski out condo

The very best feature of the condo at Lionshead Lodge is the ski valet situated at the base and the Gondola just a few steps away . Also thank you Carlos from Charter sports-a small ski shop in the basement for fixing my goggles

1st Time not our last!

What a beautiful condominium resort. The staff is exceptional. Super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Dani our concierge, was unbelievable. She goes out of her way to provide outstanding service. Making all our arrangements and giving us our itinerary prior to arrival. The grounds are beautiful and the pool / hot tubs are super clean and so enjoyable. There’s towels and ice cold water available poolside. This unit was walking distance to the Eagle Bahn gondola and some great restaurants and bars. You can also catch a free shuttle bus to take you further uptown to hit more of the village or all the way to the Betty Ford Gardens. So easy and so convenient. Can’t say enough about our family trip, it was awesome. Look forward to our return visit. Most definitely a winter visit next time and will not hesitate to book this unit @ Lions Square.

Amazing location - nice room

The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The couches could have used throw pillows to make it a little cozier and more comfortable. Could use a Tea maker. Water and downstairs bathroom did not get hot. Had to take showers in the upstairs loft area. Called maintenance, they made up something like everyone was taking showers at the same time. But that didn’t make sense considering of the upstairs bathroom was hot. The downstairs bathroom also had a toilet that ran. Had a jiggle the handle like you’re in a motel 8. Location was amazing. Lionshead is a great area and the property is ski in ski out. Would definately come back but on site management and facility maintenance could up their game.

Not a good nights sleep

The cleanliness was OK, there were some leftover popcorn kernels on the floor and the pots weren’t exactly clean. The coffee maker was not very clean either. The biggest issue that we had is that there was a lot of light coming through the window in the master bedroom. There’s no curtains and the blinds do not cover the entire window. I had a huge strip of light across my face the entire night and it was incredibly difficult to sleep. We spent two nights there and really didn’t get much sleep because of the light pollution. I ended up having to sleep in the loft to try to get some sleep. It would be wise for the owners to invest in some curtains to block out the light that comes in that is not covered by the blinds.
