Vaisson La Romaine

Wonderful house. Very comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped. It was great to have a king bed and the bathroom was very large and light. It was easy to cook in the modern kitchen and they had a nice washing machine. We were so happy they had a huge tv with lots of channels. We had just come from four days in Paris at the French Open and we were so happy to be able to watch the semi- finals and finals on a big screen in great comfort! We also felt very secure as the property is fenced and gated.

Maison parfaite pour un petit séjour à deux

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. La maison avec son terrain étonnamment grand était magnifique et l'emplacement de la maison juste à l'extérieur de la ville est parfait pour faire beaucoup de choses à pied. Peut-être important pour les personnes allergiques : nous avons dû faire face à beaucoup de taons sur la terrasse à cette période de l'année. La communication avec Sophie était super ! Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Vaison et nous serions ravis de revenir !

The perfect summer house

The house is beautifully situated on the slopes outside the town with a view of the old castle and the valley. The house is quiet and peaceful yet only 10 minutes walk from the town and restaurants. The terrace and pool are shielded from public view by trees and mountains, allowing complete peace and privacy. The house is well equipped with everything needed for a stay of several weeks. We used the house as a couple and had a perfect stay.

Traumlage, tolles Grundstück

Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Grundstück ist ungewöhnlich und zieht sich unterhalb eines Aussichtspunkts am Hang entlang. Deshalb hat man einen unfassbar schönen Blick auf die Burg und die alte Kapelle am Gegenhang. Der Pool ist klein, aber für eine Erfrischung an heißen Tagen für uns völlig ausreichend. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit genügend Geschirr und sogar an Haushaltsrolle und Müllbeutel ist gedacht. Das ist nicht überall so! Das Bad ist sehr schön und geräumig und verfügt über reichlich Platz in der Schränken, was auch für die Küche gilt. Ein weiteres Plus ist, dass man das Auto auf den abgeschlossenen Grundstück sicher parken kann und sogar ein Wendehammer vorhanden ist, bequemer geht‘s nicht! Zum Empfang fanden wir drei Flaschen Wein im Kühlschrank vor. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft und einen tollen Urlaub in wundervoller Umgebung!😊👍

Glorious, private hideaway

This property is just lovely. Sophie was easy to deal with in spite of the language barrier (my French needs work!). Fabulous views, quiet, comfortable and perfectly situated above the town and not in it, yet very close, a short walk to lots of amenities. Just a couple of things that might improve it - a) Better, more supportive pillows on the bed. b) Some guidance with regard to the rubbish regime (very different to the UK. c) There was no dish cloth, nor tea towel (we had to buy both). d) Feeding the resident cat is fine (we're animal people) but I think some warning should be on details. Overall, though, this is a very special place and we enjoyed a fabulous week at Vaison. Definitely one to return to.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Vaison la Romaine. Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön in den Weinbergen im Grünen. Die Altstadt ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Besser geht es nicht

Das Haus liegt unterhalb der mittelalterlichen Stadt und Vaison ist mit 300m Fußweg erreichbar. Das Grundstück und Haus bieten eine Oase des Lebens mit der Weitläufigkeit des Grundstückes und dem sehr geschmackvoll, funktional eingerichteten Haus Sophie ist eine freundliche, zuvorkommende Gastgeberin
