A great place right before entering Valdez, quiet and clean rooms with shared bathroom. Fred was very helpful for showing us interesting places to see before entering Valdez. We would stay here again instead of downtown Valdez.

Great cabin with beautiful mountain views and a few mins from town. The host was amazing and welcoming; breakfast was a plus and delicious. Would stay again when visiting Valdez.

The host was amazing and super knowledgeable about all the activities in and around Valdez. He also cooked breakfast to order every morning we were there. Breakfast was right on time and absolutely delicious. I can’t say enough great things about the lodge and host.

The host and hostess were very nice and super friendly. The accommodation was cozy and clean. I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was delicious. I will return next summer for sure 😇😊.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Valdez Lodge. The owner was super nice and welcoming. The breakfast was made to order and great. I loved that the cabin was in the country and away from all the tourists. You are about 15 minutes from town and an easy drive. I definitely recommend this lodge. I would definitely stay there again.

If you're looking for a more personable stay this is the place. The couple who runs it were very personable and engaging. They serve an amazing breakfast and are very knowledgeable about the area. It's a small place so you won't have tons of people running around which is nice also. Highly recommend!

Fred was so kind and helpful. He guided us to some local spots to see wildlife and take in some yummy foods. We were able to catch sights of salmon, momma bear and her two cubs and a moose!!

Amazing hosts. Left with a feeling I had stayed with family. Created many good memories and when I think of my time staying with them I will always smile. The hosts were concerned about putting the happiness of their guests first to ensure we had a nice vacation. ❤️❤️

Our host and hostess were quite enjoyable,accommodating and fun. Wonderful about helping in most anyway they could!! Breakfasts were wonderful and so were the dinners!!Yum Yum!!😄 Not sure they can cook for all quests so we consider ourselves lucky- you’ll have to take your chances!! Our stay was wonderful! Charming rustic BnB. Delicious classic breakfast. Helpful and responsive hosts. Friendly environment. Good conversation. Insider tips about what to do in and around Valdez. The property is definitely rustic, but quite comfortable. Use of fridge and kitchen for lunches was a plus (but the range is off limits, which didn't bother me). Stayed 4 nights including July 4.

An amazing clean friendly and even a deep soaking tub just 10 miles from Valdez on the way in. Whether is a glacier/wildlife tour or fishing charter your planning on.They even have freezer space for your catch until you leave at this lovely bed and breakfast. Breakfast was superb in the morning before your adventure in Valdez. This is my first bed and breakfast and I plan to stay there again on my next Valdez adventure. Room was comfortable and hearing the birds sing in the morning is nothing I would have gotten at a musty hotel in Valdez. I’d recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone I know.

This stay was a true delight. Our first Expedia experience and it did not disappoint! The hosts are so nice and attentive (the neighbor's dog even stopped by to say hello). What a wonderful surprise it was when we found out that a home-cooked breakfast, juice and plenty of coffee were included. Traveling on a Harley, we truly appreciated a nice hot meal before taking off. Thank you. Thank you. 😊

Location is terrible, it's not as shown in photos. When you turn onto Nordic Dr. it looks like you're driving into a junkyard. The front of the house is not what's in the photos. Very trashy neighborhood. The address is on the tree, so you can see it is the right place

This place is a gem! I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and got in late. The host was amazing at communicating with me and making arrangements for me getting in late. When I got there, he had a warm meal waiting for me (it was delicious!). The place was clean, bed was comfortable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, host had an amazing breakfast as well as a ton of local tips and suggestions. This far exceeded my expectations! The only reason there are not more reviews is because they just opened up! Will come again!
