“Barbara's chalet was amazing! The view from the the porch is breathtaking. Barbara and her husband were extremely friendly and attentive. We stayed in the chalet for 4 weeks and loved every minute of it! The walk up from the train station is pretty steep and was quite the cardio workout, but after a few days we got the hang of it. The chalet is off the beaten path and has very little vehicle traffic so it was a very peaceful vacation. We loved every minute of it!”

“Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen, Lage war top, leider viel Schneefall, aber haben wir auch nochmals genossen:). Leider, hatten wir noch Komplikationen mit dem WC. Aber der Sanitär konnte das Problem beheben. Sauberkeit, könnte hygienischer sein, auch der Schlüsseltresor( klemmt) mal anschauen. Tip, für deutschsprachige Gäste einen Ordner mit wichtigen Telefonnummern aus der Region inkl. Inhaberin auflegen. Wir fühlten uns aber für die Gesamtbewertung wohl👍”

“Wir haben während unseres Skiurlaubs nach den Weihnachtstagen in der Ferienwohnung gewohnt. Das historische Holzhaus mit Kaminofen bietet ein sehr uriges und gemütliches Ambiente. Die Wohnung ist umfangreich ausgestattet. Als wir dennoch etwas benötigten, hat sich die sehr herzliche Vermieterin sofort darum gekümmert. Wir haben eine schöne Zeit verlebt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.”

“The apartment is well located about 5 mins from the Main Street in Grindelwald. There is an amazing view of the Eiger from the veranda. The apartment is well equipped and cosy. A good base for a couple to explore the Grindelwald area”

“We have loved staying at Chalet Sunneblick. The are is lovely and the views stunning. The only thing is that is a 5 mins drive or bus. But very happy with the bus service, everyone seem to use it all the time to move around Grindelwald and to get to the lifts. The apartment is comfortable for two people. We had everything we need.”

“A group of five of us enjoyed eight days at Snow Flake, and the apartment was wonderful. It was every bit as beautiful as the pictures and very well accommodated with every tool we needed in the kitchen. Our host, D, was available for any questions and very willing to go the extra mile as we asked questions up front. Get the Bernese Oberland travel pass and all public transportation will be available to you for use to reach thousands of hiking trails right outside your door to explore this...

“Wir genossen den Blick ins Rhone-Tal und auf die Fiescher-Alp, hatten Spass auf der Piste und ruhige Abende in der Wohnung, wo wir mit der tollen Austattung kochen konnten, am Sofa Brettspiele spielen konnten oder auch einfach ein Glas Wein geniessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüsse”

“The accommodation was satisfactory but looking out onto a very nearby wall, the room was gloomy and dark. All accommodation in Grindelwald is very expensive and this was priced at the low budget end. Seems if you want a room with half-decent view you have to pay a lot more.”
