“Friendly staff and nice view”

“I recently stayed at the Grand Eastern Hotel in Labasa and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I booked for two nights but had to check out a day early due to a serious maintenance issue. The bathroom hand basin pipe was damaged and leaking continuously, creating a loud noise that made it impossible for my family to sleep. I reported the problem to staff immediately, but was told tojust leave it leaking. The next morning, I raised the issue again and a worker came to inspect, but...

“Unfortunately the room had a leaking toilet. No antenna on the TV, therefore not working. Kitchen very small. Room although clean but requires better furniture. Pillows uncomfortable. Ceiling fan not working but air conditioning working. View from bedroom great but water leaking off roof onto balcony making it slippery. Some staff helpful”

“It was a perfect place to stay. The place was incredible, very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The view is one of the best things of the hotel.”
