“Nice location and brilliant view. But I wouldn't recommend Daku Resort to anyone. The whole place is a mess inside and out. Very poorly maintained. Rooms very filthy. Paints faded everywhere. Broken tiles inside the Bure. Being a house owner, I can personally say that the whole resort hasn't been painted for more then 10 years. It's definitely not worth the money that I had paid to stay there for 2 nights.
Reception closes after 9pm and there is no security onsite. You are on your own after...

“I recently stayed at the Grand Eastern Hotel in Labasa and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I booked for two nights but had to check out a day early due to a serious maintenance issue. The bathroom hand basin pipe was damaged and leaking continuously, creating a loud noise that made it impossible for my family to sleep.
