Convenient location
Location is great but it is the only good thing about the hotel. Had to wait 15 minutes before checking in because there was no one in reception. Uncomfortable bed and noisy room. Poor breakfast. Not worth the price

Muy amables todos en el hotel, la televisión está en muy mal estado y deberían considerar la revisión de los inodoros porque se escucha fuga de agua lo cual indica que se está desperdiciando el recurso.

no esta mal, pero deja mucho que desear. no lift
la cama tamaño doblesize, eran dos camas individuales unidas, y el colchón muy aguado parecía super viejo, el baño le hace falta mantenimiento, se atoraba la puerta para bañarse y el asiento de la taza del baño estaba suelta, aspirador del baño hacia un ruido extraño y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba muy bien, no hay elevador, el armario super viejo y se estaba deshaciendo, no hay wifi en el hotel y al menos eso es necesario en estos días, no había cafetera en el cuarto, el desayuno buffet estuvo muy pobre, uno de los mas pobres que he probado en toda mi vida,

Muy mal que no mencionen que el hotel no tiene elevador fue con una persona de 80 años y tubo que subir escaleras . Hotel nuevo viejo . Con muy poco mantenimiento y espacios totalmente reducidos .Nada recomendable . Excesivo su precio para lo que da

Bien ubicado en San Marco. Habitaciones muy chiquitas. no tiene ascensor (creo que es un problema para maletas grandes o gente de avanzada edad).

Muy cerca de la Plaza San Marcos
La cama de matrimonio son 2 camas individuales juntas. El baño muy pequeño. No tiene ascensor. Y WiFi solo en recepción. Cambian toallas limpias todos los días. Buen horario de desayuno, empezando a las 7h.

hotel con algunos problemas
No respetaron nuestra reservación pero nos enviaron a otro de la misma cadena aunque estaba más lejos de Centro, cosa que no queríamos Encontramos chinches y nos cambiaron de cuarto

Todo ok
Si bien no había lugar en el Alcione, nos mandaron a otro de la misma empresa el Casanova. Excelente ubicación a una cuadra de plaza San Marco. Muy buen desayuno.

Kind of a bummer
The stay was fine. The problem was with booking. I needed to change an arrival date. The Alcyone handled that not Hotels.com and I don't know why. I had five reservations at this hotel. The Alcyone cancelled two of them without my knowledge or approval. When I found out I had to rebook at a new much more expensive rate and one of my room types was sold out so I had to book a triple room that I didn't need. What a racket! Now because the Alcyone took over those two reservations, Hotels.com only has three of them on file and I missed out on the Rewards points.The stay was fine although the in room free Wi-Fi didn't work. We had to find a place outside for reception. The employees were pleasant. Frankly worrying about my rooms being right and available and the trouble I had to go through for repeated follow ups took some of the joy out of our stay for me & my family.

The rooms were dirty, light fixtures broken, shower door missing, gnats flying around and just a whole sense of being rundown. I had to move to a different hotel, and the Alcyone would not refund the night. I did not stay due to the hotel conditions.

Overcharging
Upon check in on September 9, we were told by the lady at the desk to pay €6.50 in cash for service or some other city tax, which we did not dispute and paid. Next day upon check out, same girl asked for €10.50 for city tax. When we told her we had already paid the day before €6.50, she totally denied that we had paid and since we had not gotten a receipt for it, we could not prove it. €6.50 is not worth fighting for, but the attitude and denial of the same girl whom we paid 6.50 in cash made us very angry. We request that the management look into this and while disciplining the girl at the desk, credit our credit card with €6.50.

Wifi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms. This is not very convenient when you're on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. After being there 2 nights we were quite rudely informed by the woman at the front desk we were not allowed to take the key off of the property. We had come and gone multiple times without turning in our key prior to this. If it is their policy, they should have told us at check in and not scolded is in the presence of other hotel guests.

Property is old and not maintained air condition was horrible loud we could not sleep at all. Bathroom is very tight and no toilet seat and flush was broken we asked the front desk to change the room she asked us to pay another 30 euros per night to have another room.after long discussion she changed us on the next day to another room which was better bathroom and AC. The hotel mentions that they have WIFI they don’t have in the rooms only special spot near the reception

Great location but needs renovation urgently
This hotel is very tired, with dated decor and the rooms are almost too small to move in, the bathroom is more of a corridor where had to be careful moving around. Great location though

There is no wifi in the rooms it lies. The fish tank is disgusting. The room smelled odd. The AC didn't work. The bed had indentations where people have slept and was uncomfortable. They wouldn't move me or refund me so I just left and paid for 2 nights that I wasn't there. Got a different hotel and had a great time.

Bien mais Exrremement petit. Vraiment petit. La porte s’ouvre directement sur le lit dans la salle de bain tout est collé.3 etages sans ascenseur. La wifi n’est pas captée dans les chambres que a l’acceuil. Le téléphone de chambre ne fonctionner pas donc j’appeler avec mon tel perso. Point positif : L’emplacement ! Super bien placé prenez quand meme le bus pour y acceder si vous avez des bagages. Et le petit dej etais super.

Complete Let Down
We arrived late after our flights to find our hotel to look like an abandoned trailer. Stains on the rug. Shower door busted off completely. Trim missing and piled in the corner. Toilet paper holding up a shelf. I can’t make this up. They had nothing else to transfer us to and we booked a different hotel for the duration of our time in Venice. They wouldn’t refund us or comp us in anyways. Major let down. The photos they post are not true to how it looks. No elevators also.
